  1. yeah pretty much the only way this season wont be a COMPLETE waste is if we capitalize a late season run, because 6 / 9 of the final games after monday night will be at M&T bank stadium. this is the only glimmer of hope. but if we lose tomorrow all bets are off. and i truly think we have a chance at upsetting the cards if we simply just play balls to the wall yet disciplined football and finish the game, because we'll be in it for the full 60 minutes for sure. i think the most realistic scenario and the only way to stay "entertained" as a fan base is watching the young guys develop, perriman coming back, and possibly knocking a team or two out of playoff contention. would be awesome to sweep the steelers (with big ben starting) and crush their playoff hopes. other then that, dont see much else happening so far as playoff run at this point. but ill admit if we beat AZ, after how bad the chargers looked today we may have a chance going into the bye 3-5 which could be HUGE for that late season run. only time will tell. im still tuning in every week and will continue to do so until week 17 regardless.
  2. nope. we drafted him 4th round. he should be ready to go if called upon. we signed him to a 2.6 mill dollar contract. he was a bad draft pick. he cant cut it in the NFL, the ravens got desperate and signed a bum off the street. simple as that.
  3. that is a terrible comparison. a lawyer who represents one person intellectually compared to a piece of a puzzle that contributes to an entire collaborated team physically is so contradicting its insane. signing wright (and givens) who were both bums and 4th string benched players to this team only to throw them on the field right away ahead of recent invested drafted players just shows the desperation of this organization. this management firm of the ravens has folded their cards after week 2 and it just reeks of incompetence.
  4. sigh, what happened to our team bro
  5. yes, we all know he "sucks". but we drafted him in the 4th round and went into the game 1-4.. at this point we need to start developing our young players. no point in saying they "suck" at this point. the whole team sucks. why bring in a street bum and start him 3 days later when we have young bucks that need to develop for the future, who the organization has already invested in. just further proves the incompetence and desperation in the organization this year, and how poorly management has been drafting the past few seasons.
  6. maxx is looking pudgy out there on the field
  7. where was trey walker in this game? he shouldve been in there instead of some bum off the street
  8. i just heard tonight some reputable (but cant remember name) worker out of cbs sports was talking about reading the forum today on 105.7 the fan. mainly talked about the reaction to carson palmer throwing for 800 yds against us in the cardinals thread, but still cool he mentioned this forum on talk radio.
  9. did anyone actually think he WANTED to be traded? smh.
  10. good point on the smitty drops. it seems like we can never get over the hump with TD drops. another poor showing of execution. sigh, i feel so bad for flacco. his numbers should be doubled at this point in his career but years of abuse from his WR/TEs continue to make the whole "elite" debate so tiresome lol.
  11. thats when the excuses come in. flacco and company had the chance to come back at the end but failed miserably. mainly due to poor timeout usage earlier in the half, poor clock management at the end, lack of hustle, etc. we can continue to play the "if" game by saying tucker shouldve made that field goal, then all we need was a field goal that last drive. but its the fields fault there was holes in it. and "we have injuries". every single team has injuries. where was help over the top that play we put a bum off the street one on one with one of the most notorious burners in the league? point being, no excuses. its lack of execution and poor coaching.
  12. sure, just like every NFL team every single year, we have some injuries. but when we are within 3-5 points every single game, and have a chance to win last minute but are completely oblivious to the clock, refuse to spike the ball, refuse to hustle to the line of scrimmage.. that has nothing to do with injuries. and thats just one example. i could go on for paragraphs. saying we have failed at this point due to injury is completely inexcusable.
  13. 90% of the reason the lions are doing poorly is because their coaching staff. id say we are right around that same figure, maybe more like 75-80% because we have a lot more holes at key positions. but like ive been saying since week 1. its a coaching problem. our management is doing a poor job finding talent and our coaching staff is under utilizing the little talent we do have in the play calling. theres a constraint somewhere between the management and the coaching staff. and some people need to be replaced asap and get someone fresh in here that will get the job done right. whether its dean pees, marc trestman, secondary coach, WR coach, strength coach, someone in management, scouting.. something needs to be done differently.
  14. ravens pull off the win ravens: 30 cardinals: 20
  15. besides Suggs, our injury problem is blown way out of proportion. its mainly lack of talent and coaching staff.
  16. ^^^ this. people quickly forget that under "rays leadership" we were a losing team/ missed the playoffs 8 out of the 17 seasons he played for us. and 5 out of the 9 seasons when we made it to the playoffs, flacco was our QB. and we also had ed reed, terrell suggs, haloti gnata, ray rice, boldin, a healthy pitta etc. i love the guy and all, but come on people. hes just one man. a mortal human being, just like the rest of us. hes never playing football for the ravens again, get over it.
  17. i stopped reading after the first two sentences due to your lack of credibility as a poster on a forum compared to an actual teammate of flacco. firstly, you have absolutely no idea how vocal flacco is with his teammates at practice, locker room, and on the field. secondly, i personally heard flacco talk about pumping confidence into his receivers via press conference after week 3 or 4. but he can only talk them up so much until its just a flat out lack of talent issue, which is exactly what it is.
  18. seriously. forcing someone to veer away from their identity in a profession that utilizes talent directly correlated from personality is simply nonsensical.
  19. yup, our horrible defense masks the fact we are a top 10 offense after 6 weeks. which is rare.
  20. that last sentence is it. yes, we have a bad defense.. but if you look at peyton mannings, tom bradys, aaron rodgers, ben roethlisbergers, etc WR/TE roster, they have soild playmakers. you give Flacco a WR core like demaryius thomas and emmanuel sanders, or antonio brown and martavis bryant.. even a WR like brandon marshall or larry fitzgerald. he would be blowing up defenses. look at what he did with pitta, boldin, and smith. hes proven to be a great QB with solid weapons. this is becoming more and more a passing league, yet our organization simply fails year in and year out to supply flacco with weapons. its getting quite ridiculous
  21. this is such a tired, played out assumption. Flacco isnt going to change his entire personality and become this great leader. he needs to just be himself and show up on sundays. joe cool, thats who he is. imagine him pulling a drew brees or ray lewis "who let the dogs out" chant in the middle of a circle of players before a game. that would be a c'mon man moment. not happening.
  22. what ray is saying, is that we need to draft joey bosa
  23. we got our work cut out for us this offseason
  24. all of the cardinals WR's and offensive players will burn our secondary. fitzgerald, brown, floyd, johnson, arrington, gresham, etc. all of them will burn us for the full 60 minutes.
  25. that last drive clock management was absolutely atrocious. fire all the coaches and cut all the players asap. its like this team doesnt even want to win.
