maxx williams was no doubt our best pick in the draft. he has the best hands out of any other TE and will run precise routes through traffic and make plays, but saying he is a great blocker is just silly. he needs to improve his blocking skills. if you think he is a great blocker then your pretty much disagreeing with tape, basic football knowledge, every nfl analyst, and overall common sense.

blocking was his biggest/ pretty much only weakness. dude is not a good blocker.

actually, he is a terrible blocker lol. but dude can run a route and catch the ball in traffic no doubt.

we loaded up with red zone targets in this draft, boyle being the biggest one. we severely lacked red zone targets last year. his height and arm span is a perfect match for flacco. the more i watch on boyle, the more im stoked on this pick up. extremely underrated for what he is meant for. short underneath routes, blocking, and red zone. we will bust out some double TE sets for sure.

our secondary stills looks weak. the chances of jimmy smith and lardarius webb playing an entire year (including post season) is next to none, and none of our backups look promising. kendrick lewis and the health of jimmy smith will make or break our secondary this upcoming season

tray walker was prob best pickup next to maxx and breshad. dude has a nice frame, quick and plays well in press which we need. solid pick in round 4. also could be that turnover machine this defense desperately needs, hes known to have a nose for the ball in college.

given the reason you think us drafting him in the first round was a D grade, who else was on the board that you wouldve taken over perriman at 26?

agree with all except boyle and perriman, boyle is a big body guy that can block and is durable. great depth at that position which is mandatory for our offense. i thinks it a great late round pick up. perriman is the perfect replacement for torrey and then some. he is light years ahead of torrey, when torrey was coming out of MD. thats simply a fact. bigger, stronger, goes after the contested catches. just watch torreys highlights at MD compared to perriman at UCF. all of his weaknesses can be coached at the NFL level. torreys aggressiveness could not be coached. he simply lacked it as a player. overall draft grade, solid A.
