Like I said, all eyes need to turn to Trestman..it's his offense and it's not working.
I think all eyes have been on Trestman since game one.
The positives from this game are that Ravens will battle for 60 minutes. They never quit and can hang tough. The defense held the #2 offense under 100 yards rushing and under 200 yards passing. How did we lose....
1. Trestman: He does not have any concern for the running game or Joe’s Health. 52 passes will not win games for most QBs, but definitely not Joe. At one point there were 18 passes in a row.
You would think after coming off an ACL/MCL injury your coordinator would make protecting Joe a priority. He does not add TEs or RBs to support the same backups on the O-line that got Joe hurt last season. Inexcusable.
2. Joe: He is Mr. Hot and Cold. He runs the plays as they are called and seems like he does not adjust.
52 passes and he still does not pass 300 yards. With all these weapons, that is also unacceptable.
On the other side, Carr with only 3 years of experience, threw 35 times, for 4 TDs, and a 123 QB rating.
3. Coaching: Are they arrogant or just poor decision makers?
Going for 2 early in the game when your offense is struggling is a head scratcher.
Also, removing a 4th down on an offense that is ranked #2 in the league. SMH?
Has backups on the online and still insisted or calling pass play after pass play.
Wright got exposed. Why no switch? Was there any doubt when Webb got hurt they would go to Lewis side?
4. Offense line: Hurst and Jensen are terrible. Zuttah has been playing subpar. There is no question why a rookie like Lewis beat out the veterans. They stink. Joe won’t last with Hurst out there.
5. Penalties: Killed drives today. Raiders had fewer yards, less time of Possession, less plays, more hits on our QB. They won in the trenches Raiders ran the ball 19 times cause they knew Wright was a weakness they could target.
I think that pretty much sums it up
The loss is totally on the Offense. Kind of pathetic really. Just makes me sick!

Besides his random playoff run in the playoffs to win a super bowl throughout his career he has been average to me. Joe hasn't even thrown for 4,000 yards in a passing league. Even derek carr is better than him right now in my opinion.
Don't forget Carson Wentz

Agree

Yes, I think Flacco is part of the problem but then again to be fair the whole line sucks and it starts with them

If it didn' hurt so much watching it

I agree totally

Not really

He worse than terrible. How much longer do we have to put up with him?
first off,I've watched NFL TOTAL ACCESS for years and we get mentioned about twice a season, the SKINS and BROWNS,about twice a show.secondly, why were we told how well our offensive players were doing and WATCH OUT! for our new DYNAMIC,QUICK passing game, were they mistaken and really were watching PITTSBURG? FLACCO played slow and indisisive as you'd think WENTZ would of.FLACCO showed every reason why fans have been frustrated for many years, including the SUPERBOWL run where other than a few games he didn't play all that well, again it was mostly our defense that carried us.then a guy comes in like JOSH JOHNSON,quick, decisive and accurate, yeah against second team players, but not always, remember? the traits listed above carried over every snap,of course he's gone and were left with two of the same QB.'S to me FLACCO was only great when they just let him manage games, like a ALEX SMITH type, left on his own he's indicisive and a mediocre mid of the pack qb.as the numbers show,ELITE? never,I know all the fans are wrong and the RAVENS are always right.i don't see where he's elite enough to make up for a now less than all pro offensive line we gambled away.i often wondered if we took a chance on BREES when few teams wouldn't on his shoulder where we'd be the last few years.yes,i'm old and grumpy, mabey i don't have the time to wait around to see the improvment thats always promised, buts always the same, mediocre QB. play.
Flacco is coming off one of the worst injuries in sports and it will take time with all the new players to gel. You are not only old and grumpy but have a convenient memory loss as well. This team in their 20 year history has won 2 SBs and numerous playoff games by mediocre players (according to you). No one is asking you to wait around for anything or anybody. Watch Brees play and I really don't see where he is any better than what we have. Go Ravens.
Elite players lead. Dan Marino's knees were totally shot yet he lead his team to victory consistently. Joe Namath, maybe before your time again Knees totally shot lead his team to victory. Joe's knee I am guessing here is in better shape than those two guys. Johnny Unitas's knees were shot for that matter. No excuses for mental errors.

What accounts for the slow starts and the offense becoming non-existent prior to the injury? Maybe the word should be Poise or lack there of? I really don't know what it is with this team and Offense? Yes, we have won Super Bowls. One with one of the greatest Defenses of all time and the other after firing Offensive coordinator and a lot of luck. The lack of offensive production got him fired to begin with and still haven't fixed it in 4years. Joe is the common denominator.

I think you wanna the offense to be perfect. We're not perfect. Elite or not Joe always have us in a position to win games. The defense didn't carry us in the Super Bowl run Joe did. It feels like you are a stat guy and that's what elite means to you. That's why you want us to signed Brees when he was a free agent. Even though he put impressive stats he not winning football games. He average 7-8 wins a year. What Elite means to me is to make plays in clutch situations, winning in the playoffs, and always give us a chance to win not stats.
I can see where your coming from and I agree. Joe does not always have us in a position to win the game. The playoffs in 2014 and that throw to Torrey which was intercepted didn't need to happen. We had timeouts and a little time to work with and one throw for all the marbles didn't work. Sometimes I feel he doesn't know how to read Defensive coverage. Those back foot lobs and under throws kill me. I like Joe and every year I expect it to be the year and yet it doesn't happen, why? To me an elite QB is a General out there and goes to work. Joe does not do that even now with the fire power we have on Offense. It really was quite deflating after all the hooplah about our weapons. Quarterback Whisperer Mark Trestman? Hello, it's Cam Cameron deja vu all over again. Joe started 11 games last year and we lost most of those with him. Just sick of the Offense not playing up to their potential. Right now I feel we are paying Joe elite money but not seeing it on the field. Hope that changes, I really do. I like Joe and I get tired of the Fluko comments but until he really leads us then the comments will continue.
Maybe I am being unfair to Zuttah? Still didn't like how the Offense played on Sunday. All the hype in Preseason. Joe finally has weapons and we lay an egg. We won but it is one of those wins where it feels like a loss offensively. I expected so much more and got so much less. Yes, I was jumping up and down when Wallace scored and Perriman and Dennis Pitta had catches but not much after that and it still bothers me here on Tuesday.
Yeah way too much overreaction to Zuttah having a bad day, particularly when we haven't really seen any good days from Urschel at center.
If Zuttah played outstanding last year I might give him a pass for the one game but he didn't and is suspect in my opinion.
Personally I am just plain tired of the ineptness of the Offense whether that is the line or Joe Flacco. I always get so excited in Preseason thinking this will be the year. NOT! Same old same old. Offense goes into a shell and doesn't do squat.
They need Urschel to play Center and sit Zuttah if he plays like he did on Sunday.
Gotta give the O-line time to gel. We're starting 2 rookies on the left side and to throw a new center into the mix and then expecting them to run on all cylinders is a giant task.
Harbaugh says they don't need Preseason games and they get all need in practice. What say you? Obviously they need to Practice better than what we saw on Sunday.

thats what happens when you let all pros go via free agency.
We did try to keep KO.
thats what happens when you let all pros go via free agency.
I think it was more on Zuttah than missing KO honestly. We haven't had a decent center since Matt Birck retired.
It's games like Joe played yesterday is why he will Never be considered Elite
Still getting tired of Offense going into a shell. Hello, this is the NFL and with the fire power we have there should be no excuses. What accounts for under throwing receivers? No back foot lobs thank God but still they should be better than they were yesterday. Having Deja Vu of Cam Cameron and Trent Dilfer. Please...............................................................
I really expected the Offense to play better. Joe is a 9 year veteran and not a rookie. Granted he is coming off of an injury but I thought he sucked last year too even before the injury. Really no excuses with the fire power we have now. Zuttah may need to be replaced and if Joe doesn't start playing better he may need to be replaced too. I keep expecting him to play better and time and time again it is the same old [profanity deleted]. So tired of the Offense going into a shell and almost losing the game.
I am dying to see this guy go flying down the sidelines and catching a pass 5 yards behind the nearest corner. Am I hoping for too much, I don't think so. I watched Mike Wallace get a three step lead on a corner in the third game and Joe just missed him and when that happened I thought to myself, if that was Perriman, he would have had that and been streaking down the field. I could almost taste it. Now there is just another reason to watch the fourth preseason game (like I needed additional excuses).
I can't wait to see him too! Now we have speed on both sides.

Well if he is always going to need a clean pocket to throw the ball correctly it is not going to happen. Joe needs to be better than what we are paying him to do. Rookies are out playing Joe. Tired of the ineptitude of the Offense whether it is Joe, the O-line, Receivers or the Coordinator. It is embarrassing for a 9 Veteran QB to play the way Joe does.
