  1. This FO is quickly becoming the keystone cops. The traded for Will Davis just last year. Now he is gone and only replaced by another undrafted free agent. They continuously pass on blue chip talents when the have the opportunity (eg Corey Graham, KO, Ramsey via draft) but continue this carousel of "camp bodies"

Can someone please tell me how many bad players equal one good player.

Come on we traded a 7th round pick. We didn't lose much of anything. Those picks are mostly crap shoots anyway.

  2. Is it just me, or does Harbaugh seem more irritated than normal during the press conference? It makes me wonder if Biscotti had something for him during the bye week about his expectations.

Seems Stressed but that's what Losing does to you. Considering we are 8-15 since last year. Doesn't help that your 9 year Franchise QB forgot how to throw and we are stuck with him for at least 2 years even with the so called Weapons at his disposal.

  3. Some sorry Ravens fans on this site. Nothing but griping and wishing we had another player on our team. Perhaps you should look at the Browns and thank your lucky stars we have the players we have. Better watch what you wish for. Things could be a lot worse. Go Ravens.

Actually we are only 3 wins ahead of Cleveland. They have a stock pile of picks in the 2017 draft and we Don't. If we don't start picking better we could be Cleveland. We pay Joe Flacco big bucks to Suck. How does a 9 year veteran forget throwing mechanics? Really?

Surely not what I was expecting. All I know right now is it feels like continuation of last season. Counting last season we are now 8-15. just Frustrated!

Mosley Suggs B.Williams and Weddle were all playing at pro bowl level but our offense couldn't muster out a few more wins.

Do you really think they will make the Pro Bowl?

These forums exist so that fans can discuss their opinions. Silly to say that someone with an opinion different than yours is a "hater." No one here hates the Ravens. Those people post to the Pittsburgh Steelers forums.

Yes. I love the Ravens.....however, as a product (a major one, at that)it /they are not playing as good as they should be with the talent they have, etc. As a fan I am very dissatisfied, given there putrid offense- especially with an excessively overpaid qb that is not (imo) doing his best to win (internal politics, perhaps?)

Sloppy Joe got his money, he will never be a leader on any team .Maybe that's why he ended up at Delaware State. The Blue Hen that lays eggs !

Sloppy Joe didn't go to Delaware State Outkast1, he went to the University of Delaware, 2 entirely different schools in the state and they both suck at football

He went to Pittsburgh first and was buried in the depth chart. Where are those guys that played in front of him there? No where and did they even play in the NFL? Joe transferred to Delaware and was a starter and ultimately drafted by Ravens 17th in 1st round. Joe has a Super Bowl ring and a fat paycheck. It doesn't get any better than that as a story. Good for Joe!

Good for Far Below Average Joe. Bad for Ravens!!

Yes, it has been bad for us since the Super Bowl. Every year I expect more from him but he has Sucked the last few years even with an Offensive line. Just terrible and maybe just maybe we already seen his best and he will crash and burn?

If we gave up Butler to sign Hester and then end up cutting Hester next week that will just be the icing on the dysfunctional cake that has become the Ravens. We just can't seem to carry out the simplest of player personnel decisions correctly. Every one they do they mess up and we end up without the guy we need and we get stuck with a dumpster refugee for the stupidest of reasons. To listen to Harbaugh and Rosburg talk, Hester was not only still the guy who could get it done, they could hardly wait for him to show he was still great, yet they didn't even test him enough to see if he could come back and perform after missing two years. That's because of their special teams background and they wanted SO bad to be any part of Devin Hesters history. I have yet to see any player who missed just one year that didn't come back and suffer some muscle tear or strain whether it be hamstring, bicep, or whatever. Once again, leave it to Ozzie and John to let a guy go who catches anything around him and keeping a guy who hadn't been on the field in two years and it will soon will be three.

All I have to say to Ozzie is, you better take those draft picks you store up like they are gold and use them to get at least 2 picks in the first round and 2 in the second round to start filling these holes, or should I say caverns that the Ravens have. We need PLAYMAKERS, and rarely do they come in the third round or later (have some teams scored later with players, yes, but rarely and we never have). We don't need functional players because we can't coach them up, we need legitimate first round picks that can become pro bowlers. AND we need them NOW. When you have playmakers like Lewis, Reed, Ngata, Rice, Boldin, etc... you can draft 15 players and hope for a diamond in the rough. When the only great player you have is your kicker, Tucker, then you need a bunch of picks in the first couple rounds because you don't even have a core to build around. I know they thought Flacco would be that guy but he is not and he needs to take a paycut so they can get the players around him so he can be successful.

The only Pro Bowl player we have is Tucker and he was Undrafted. I think that about sums it up. 8. Why is it that we are on Perriman's case now. He hasn't played great but he is technically still a rookie. I think we need to focus on the elephant in the room which is Flacco's passing woes this season. Nothing wrong with talking about it because at least we'll know where we stand as an offense.

Agree. I think we do need to talk about Joe and if he keeps playing like he is playing put Mallett in. Can't be much worse?

Why do we always have to "coach up guys" or "speed up their learning curve". Other teams get rookies who go out and produce day 1, other than Mosley, we haven't drafted a ready to go first rounder since...since I can't even remember when. We need a change with the player personnel staff. If Ozzie isn't to blame for all these bad draft picks, then certainly the scouting staff we have has to be. And if Harbaugh has input into player decisions, Bisciotti needs to relieve him of those since he clearly has failed at choosing players and coaching them. Maybe he better concentrate on coaching and leave the player personnel side to someone else. I don't know what the problem is with draft picks, trades and free agent signings. We can't seem to do well with any of them when other teams are doing great.

After having a losing record after winning the super bowl in 2012, Bisciotti is going to have to make some sort of change in the person that decides who is or isn't drafted, who is or isn't signed and who or who not to trade for. I say make that the domain of Ozzie and lets see who is at fault. If the problem is corrected when Ozzie is in control of it all, then we know the problem, Consequently, if we still have issues and Ozzie is in full control we know where the problem is. I don't know but we have to find out soon and get it fixed because it clearly is not fixing itself. We can't win when we have players that aren't as good as other teams.

Finally, its hard to be competitive when you are paying a 60 million dollar qb 120 million dollars. He isn't good enough to make up for 60 million dollars worth of players we would have if we paid him what he is worth, not what he earned by winning the 2012 super bowl. Sorry, its a what have you done for me lately league and Flacco has done nothing since the 2012 playoff run.

Signing the woman beater to an absurd contract negatively impacted a lot of personnel decisions. Add to the fact that B. Pierce sucked it really set back the FO''s business plan to this day as evident by the product.

Don't forget overpaying Eugene Monroe and we had use our #1 on a left tackle.

The OL admittedly did not help much, but I also believe the outcome would have been very different if Joe is doing half what a $25million/yr is expected to do. If he cannot, it would have been better then to settle for any $10milion/yr QB or even a rookie QB and invest the difference in an OL that can make a difference in the run game. Having that said, I do not see the OL going anywhere this year with Zuttah at Center; it's like having 4-men OL with a huge hole in the middle.

So tired of hearing this Flacco contract argument. He's getting paid what the average successful QB is getting paid. Romo is making $18 million, Kap is making $19 million, Cousins is making $20 million, Tannehill is making $20 million, Carson Palmer is making $25 million.

Do you even know what a $10 million QB looks like?
Here's your options (not on rookie deal):
    Ryan Fitzpatrick = $12 million
    RG3 = $ 7.5 million
    Chase Daniel = $7 million
    Josh McCown = $ 4.6 million
    Chad Henne = $ 4 million.

Do you know what a crap shoot drafting a QB is without having a Top 3 overall pick?Johnny Manziel, EJ Manual, Geno Smith, Paxton Lynch, Christian Hackenberg, etc. In the last 4 drafts, 42 QBs have been drafted after the Top 3 picks - exactly 3 have made any impact (Teddy Bridgewater, Derek Carr, Dak Prescott). 3 outta 42! That's a 7% success rate. 7%! Those are not good odds to waste a 1st, 2nd or 3 round pick on.

All those guys you just listed - All playing better than Flacco. So yeah we could get someone a lot cheaper to Suck as Bad as Flacco has. At any rate we are more or less stuck with Flacco until 2018 and then we can dump him. Blame that on poor contracts, just like Eugene Monroe. Fact of the matter is Flacco has sucked since signing the big contract not once but twice. The Ravens screwed up big time on this one and it will hurt for a long long time. Who knows though we can always hope for the best.

No doubt Joe deserves some heat. Bottom line is that our horrible drafts over the last seven to eight years are finally catching up to us.

Kick rocks the Ravens are known for their drafting around the league! Because Joe can't finish drives do not go after Ozzie and Co! Nope Nope Nope!

I agree with that. I'm not blaming Ozzie & Co for Joe's lack of poise or under throws/over throws. I
