  1. Ben Roethlisberger begs to differ. He actually has a couple nice hits on Big Ben!
  2. I could care less about insulting Eugene Monroe. He has insulted me with his play which we have already over paid for.
  3. When you look at Kurt Cousin and Sam Bradford's pay day and they haven't even won a Super Bowl much less a Playoff game then it is what it is. Joe does need to play better than last year for sure.
  4. It was the price we paid for beating the Steelers. Always good to beat the Steelers.
  5. Well, let's be realistic here. He's probably going to have four pretty good lineman returning to block for him, and he will have Steve Smith, Aiken, and Perriman, who for all we know could light the world on fire. And none of that is affected whatsoever by his contract. It's certainly not an awesome lineup of assets, but let's stop pretending it's complete garbage either. He had less to work with last season and the offense still was pretty good. AND that's all excluding anybody we obtain in the draft, which again, is unaffected by Joe's contract. Life ain't that bad for Joe if no deal gets done. Isn't that what they said last year? We had our whole line returning and it was going to be one of our strengths? Why we were predicted to go so far but fell so hard. If Joe is only comfortable throwing to a couple WR's it won't matter who we draft period. He will be 9 year veteran this year and I expect him to play as such otherwise we are better off without him. We can get someone cheaper to play how he played last year. I guess losing key players at a regular pace all season did not have any affect on the ability to win games. The Ravens did not have any close games either, they were were completely one sided games, every single one all season long. What kool-aid flavor do you drink? STOP IT What happened to being one of the best conditioned teams in the NFL? Nobody but nobody works harder than us yadda, yadda... Yet we have lead the league in injuries the last few years. I did drink the kool aid by the way and feel deceived. Not going lie to you, I felt for sure Flacco was going to have his best year ever last year. I saw maturity in him and then the season started and back foot throws killed me. I bleed purple win or lose but hate losing. I'm rooting for Darren Waller this year to shine and hope can find him.

  7. Joe just needs to play better than he did last year. I expected more and got so much less. Seemed he forgot basic mechanics? Won't be able to blame a new coordinator or new system this year. Plus he needs to spread the ball around and not just his favorites like trying the open man. How can you over throw/under throw 6'6" receivers? Darren Waller several times last year.
  8. So now, the Ravens' record is Joe's fault? You are joking, right? He needs to own some of it with those back foot lobs and interceptions.
  9. I don't know what Jeff Zrebiec was watching as far as WR's go but they were the slowest group in over 11 years! Can you really justify a #6 pick on that slow of WR? I think not.
  10. I think that depends on the position. The WR and TE group were pretty slow and the slowest in 11 years. Pretty deep for defensive lineman though. I'm thinking CB #6 pick or Oz can totally shock me and take Ezekiel Elliott or Derick Henry. Henry is a load to bring down in the 4th quarter plus he is a punishing runner.
  11. Hope your right if they pick him? Actually saw an interview with Bosa afterwards and they get up pretty early all week. 5:30 am and 3:30 one morning for drug testing and by the time they get to running the drills their ragged. Could explain it. I liked Forrest Debuckner too.
  12. Bosa didn't look so hot. Not sure if I would pick him based on the Combine? WR's were slow. Our 6th round pick last year Darren Waller was almost as fast as the fastest time this year.
  13. If he is there in the 2nd we need to draft him. Won't be sorry!
  14. Don't forget about Darren Waller. He has size and speed and almost as fast as any WR that tested today. He has a year under his belt and I am expecting good things from him. We shall see.......
  15. Ray Rice never punished anybody not like Jamal Lewis or Priest Holmes. Derrick Henry is that kind of guy that wears them down. He is a load plus he's quick.
  16. I agree. Been missing it for a long time now.
  17. Zero percent chance of this, and all parties know it. Particularly with as weak a QB class as this one is. I think there is a chance and it's greater than 0. Joe really hasn't played that well since signing that big contract. He has been middle of the road and I expected more development than what I saw last year. We have Ryan Mallete real cheap. Russell Street report had an article today about possible trade scenario wth Denver. Getting a couple 1st round picks maybe a 2nd for Joe. Just saying there is always a chance.
  18. If we resign KO, Monroe is gone. Sorry there was a reason Jacksonville traded him to us. If he was so hot they wouldn't have drafted another LT a couple years later. Sorry, just don't see it with Monroe even when he is healthy. He is getting paid like a top 10 LT which he is not. Won't miss him when he goes.
  19. Maybe you just don't watch college football? Those useless Alabama players won it all! Where do you think Julio Jones came from? Are you really that out of touch and don't know they are a Power in the SEC? They get to pick the best talent in the country to play for them because their that good.
  20. As far as I know there's no video of Trent Richardson throwing a right punch and knocking out his fiancé in an elevator. Ray Rice sucked the season before that happened. Ray's downfall was his own and no one else. What do we have to lose?
  21. I agree. Let's see what he's got. Doesn't cost us much and who knows? We are all about Redemption and here's his shot let's hope it's a good one. Besides Justin Forsett floundered for years before becoming a Raven why not Trent finally live up to his draft status and who knows we could be looking like a genius by the end.
  22. We should give him the benefit of the doubt because there was a reason he was picked #3 overall. Come on he went to Cleveland and Oakland the Black Holes of the NFL. Look at Cleveland, they pick in top 10 year after year and they still suck.
  23. I'm glad Oz is sticking to what he said earlier. Hey if the Oz man thinks we don't have to redo the deal then maybe we don't need to redo it? Better than kicking the can down the road if things don't pan out. Not gonna lie I was disappointed in Joe last year. Those back foot lobs killed me. I really thought last year was going to be his year too and I just didn't see it. I will assume the Ravens have a plan and who's to say their wrong? Time will tell but some times you just bite the bullet and get it over with. Don't need to be held hostage by an over valued QB. Let him earn it this year just like the Super Bowl run. Because he hasn't played like that since.
  24. when you're picking in the back of the 1st round all the time. your picks tend to be 50/50.. On your case about Matt Elam, the whole 2013 draft class was pretty bad and we took him with the 32nd pick, not the 6th or 18th. the only people we missed in that class was Darius Slay or Le'Von bell.. but at that point in time. we had emerging Jimmy Smith with a healthy Webb and had Ray Rice carrying the rock. no one can predict future. but your post tends to lead that way. Since Harbaugh and Oz has been paired our 1st round picks have been 08 Flacco, 09 Oher, 11 jimmy smith, 13 Elam, 14 Mosley, 15 Perriman. Let see 4 of those guys are starting (1 for another team). One missed his rookie year and one didn't do a good job. But yeah we have been missing a lot in the first round according to you. Take a look at the 2012 Draft which we traded out of the 1st round. We picked Sergio Kindle, Terrence Cody, David Reed, Jah Reid, Tandon Doss,Chykie Brown,Anthony Allen. How many of those are on the team? 2013 Draft- Matt Elam, Arthur Brown, Gino Gradkowsk, Christian Thompson, Asa Jackson,Tommy Streeter, John Simon, Aaron Malette, Marc Anthony where are they now? The best player from the 2013 Draft has been Brandon Williams our 3rd round pick. My point was we can't keeping whiffing on our picks. Period. 2015 Draft was pretty good except for Perriman which remains to be seen. I thought we built our team from the draft? Could be wrong? PS- If we are not building from the Draft and we sure as hell don't have money to go shopping during Free Agency what do you suggest? We build from Draft it's the only way to get good players cheap. How do the Steelers constantly draft good WR and we can't even draft 1? Maybe Perriman is that guy? I sure as hell hope so and I know it is something I would love to see him do against the Steelers!
