Considering Arthur Brown was the 2nd pick in that draft you could say they blew 2 picks in that draft. I'm over it now Ozzie admitted that the last few drafts were not up to Ravens standards.

Are you kidding me? He was Bust by year 2. How many tackles did he miss that cost us a touch down or the game? Please, that's why they had to go get Kendrick Lewis and Will Hill. Not For Long it's another name for the NFL and Elam has not lived up to his draft status at all. Poor guy got 10 million and I am not feeling sorry for him. He had the opportunity and just didn't perform up to our standards.

Trent Richardson is 25. He was star at Alabama and 3rd overall pick. LT is more injured than not and played at East Coast Carolina. Please there is no comparison. If he plays like his rookie year or like he did at Alabama it is a win win for the Ravens. It isn't a lot of money we are paying him and there are no guarantees he makes the team. What if Derrick Henry is there in the 2nd?

Not true. We won our last Super Bowl without a franchise LT. McKinney didn't play all year and was fresh for the playoffs and was let go the following year. When McKinney was drafted he was a franchise LT but by the time the Ravens got him he was well past it.

No that was 2013 Draft with Elam and Arthur Brown. We did get Brandon Williams though. You must not watch much college ball? Derrick Henry was the Heisman Trophy winner. It does mean something plus he helped his team win the National Championship as Trent Richardson did when he was at Alabama. Derrick is a load to bring down and I personally think he would help our running game and our notoriously slow starts which end up being losses on the road.

I too miss the Jamal Lewis type running back. One that can punish your opponents and is load to bring down especially in the 4th quarter. I like Henry and if he is the best player available in 2nd round take him. If Trent Richardson returns to form we could have a hell of 1-2 punch. I know we have greater needs elsewhere but a chance to get a quality back would be nice and if no QB is taken in the first 5 picks and all our Defensive guys are taken I wouldn't mind Ezekiel Elliott.

Just a little touchy about people bad mouthing my Ravens. Especially any draft pick that should be grateful to be in the position to be drafted. I'm not really sure on Joey Bosa any way? I watched the Combine and he was slow. Personally I like the guys that grew up poor and are more hungry than those that came from privilege.

Talk about immaturity there is a report on Baltimore Beatdown that says Joey Bosa would hold out if drafted by the Ravens because John Harbaugh's brother Jim coaches at Michigan and Joey played at Ohio State. Really? Please don't waste money on this guy. Other articles indicate he has reached his ceiling. Any one but Joey is fine with me. I have never liked John Elway for same reason.

Henry is big guy that will punish defense that's why. I know we already have running backs but not one like him! He would be worth a 2nd round pick otherwise I am for all Defensive picks.

I agree. Our high draft picks especially have been bust more or less except CJ. Elam, Arthur Brown and even Courtney Upshaw. Yes, we have had some good 3&4th rounders that have produced like Brandon Williams but all in all you should expect your 1st & 2nd round picks to produce right away and that has not been the case the last few years. Makes you wonder what has happened to the scouting department? Then you wonder how the Steelers consistently find good receivers in lower rounds and we can't find 1.

To be fair to Wallace, Miami was not the place for him. First of all you needed a QB that could throw him the ball. Yes they over paid for what they got in return. Then he went to Minnesota with QB problems and a young QB not entirely his fault but he did chase the money.

Agree! I think this website has detoriarated into a propaganda machine. I'm tired of all the praises about comp picks this comp picks that. What good is a pick when you let him walk after he has been developed? I want wins. I don't care how many comp picks you get or how much under the salary cap you are. When you draft players and develop them, it should behoove you to keep them. Next season these same writers will come up with excuses why Flacco can't complete a pass. "The O-line" can block for Flacco blah blah blah. I agree with both statements. What good have the comp picks got us? We are picking #6 for a reason. Over paid for Monroe and the O-line has sucked for years, basically since the Super Bowl run. Joe running for his life until finally injured. Whiffing on draft picks hasn't helped either. We have so many holes to fill it will take more than one draft to fix.

It maybe a poor choice of words but we certainly did over pay for Eugene Monroe for the production we are getting. His performance has been lacking and we have been filling in with lower round draft choices.

I complained about it too but apparently they are under orders from the NFL for some of the changes. Not sure I like the new format too.
