Great job defensively. A couple lucky plays ( an out of bounds TD catch, and an 85 yard TD run), made up a majority of the Browns offense. To shut down any team for 3 quarters is great, especially a division rival and on the road. Improved secondary, and a good young D-line. The offense had a rough start. Joe made a couple bad throws, way too many dropped passes, and absolutely no run game. Along with some predictable, vanilla play calling this one didn't look good. However, to Trestmans credit, he did adjust. He got a little more creative in the passing game, and Joe and his receivers stepped up. The O-line has to improve. So far this year that's the biggest problem. We have no run game whatsoever, and that's hurting are passing game as well. They look a little better in pass coverage. They struggled the first game, but did a lot better against Cleveland. So far, our FAs have been the difference. Keep it up Weddle and Wallace. A special shout out to Pitta, great game. Way to put in the time and effort to get back.
