We definitely need this guy on our team. Immediate impact player for us.
Bosa would be nice, but see him being more natural and productive in 4-3
I would really like to draft a guy like Ramsey, but would be disappointed in a way since we just signed Will Hill and Kendrick for the back end. Seem's like our defense is really confused with so many new faces. Maybe one more year to get more comfortable.
I think the BPA/Need fit for us would be VH3 considering where we are now and our schedule for the remainder of the season. Might still be even a little to high in my opinion, but needless to say he has the skill and ability to play DB and fall into this category.
Oh and I am hopeful for a new DC after the season.
I'm hoping for Jalen Ramsey personally
I wold also call a possible high draft position a definite positive.
I agree...it would be cool to see us take one of the flashy high draft value players for a change. Lot's of people mentioning Jalen Ramsey/Hargreaves or Stanley. No-brainers.
If there can be one positive from this season it is without a doubt signing Yanda. Raven for life.
Looking forward to the adjustments for next season...players have thrown in the towel.
We NEED play makers for the rest of the team to rally around.
before you all go crazy , read first
Our problem is the culture that coach HARB wanted to create,he wanted to have a really good team with good people
kinda like the Patroits ,,only problem is,, he is not the coach with a high football I.Q,
Many coaches truly understand the game and put coaches in place so that players can be put in place,,, Anyway back to the question and the answer is we need some crazy aggressive insane players, we have a good team, with high character players,, but we have no fight,,,
if anybody has played the game before then you know,,,,
I can understand that in addition to poor drafting as someone mentioned earlier. I mean I like Harbs as the head coach, but at least get some coordinators in place that want to do the dirty work with the right mentatlity...right now with Pees and Treastman we couldn't have a more vanilla mindset.......we got guys at the castle sitting around collecting pay checks with absolutely no hunger for the game.
I always enjoy watching to see what past players do their first season away from their old team. For Ngata, it looks like we made a good move letting him walk.
As Ravens fans we all know that with this guys its not always about production, but presence supports his contract...however thus far this season he has 4 tackles averaging 1 per game with 2 passes defended.
Brandon Williams all day! So far... 15 solo tackles/6 assists/21 total/1 pass defended
.......Oh and Ngata's out again with a calf injury. Backup got injured while stepping in so they're screwed.
Should make the next game a lot more fun on our turf
Please help!
Looking at our WR options at the moment, makes me think BP is going to have a field day with targets and yardage down the field. I think we will be seeing his return right around the corner and was thinking about adding him to my league.
My only option to drop would be Victor Cruz...thoughts?
I've noticed some tension with Pee's and Harbs since the beginning of the season, calling his bend don't break motto. Could very well be a short year if not his last full season here if he doesn't turn things around this week.
Saying the defense lacked effort says it all from what I've seen and heard thus far. I'm not sure if its our passive coach or the players lacking that aggressive nature but these guys don't look like a Ravens defense. I thought upgrading our DB's by bringing in some vets would add that swagger back but.....no.
Strongly missing Suggs and the defense of old....
I feel like trading for a WR would be really expensive for us. Don't know why we have issues with this position every year but if that's what we need to do for us for find someone reliable than I guess we have no choice.
I am just praying that BP isn't going to be a injury machine.
Babin is perfect as a stopgap with Suggs being out for the remainder of the year. Too many people trying to make judgments about Za'Darius Smith because we're not going with the "next man up" philosophy that so many people like to talk about. I personally think putting a rookie out there to try and replace Suggs would be a horrendous move, and that bringing in Babin should help ZDS learn and get better with an increased role on the team.
I like your observation. The more I thought about the next man up approach at this position twisted my stomach more and more. Nothing against ZDS, but like you said a rookie starting in place of our all pro vet just didn't seem adequate.
Babin should fit in perfect in my opinion. Even though he had a weak year last year I think that he will definitely have better production in our system over the Jets. Typically players just go there to roll over and collect a check...but something different with Babin and our franchise. Hopefully he is hungry for a title as much as we are.
Great move. I think Babin is going to do great here until Suggs comes back.
I was really disappointed at first, but than reality set in. Suggs was already talking retirement coming sooner than later and I don't think we have his replacement on the team yet...but will be thrilled if I'm wrong and can see Upshaw/Z.Smith fill the void.
At least with Suggs going down, we get the chance to see what life will be like without him..
May need to hit this position early in the draft next year if things dont pan out.
Doesn't sound like we have much of a choice having Camp on special teams until they get a chance to check out these new additions. It is concerning to see him take the role, but in all honesty if he can't stay on the field on special teams, than how can we depend on him at WR.
I'm a huge supporter, but prove your worth and shake this injury stuff...
HAHAHA I love that Harbaugh Vine

Don't play games with my heart...
Asa Jackson reminds me a lot of Cary Williams on this team. Harbs puts a lot of confidence in him
Think we can get trade backs with that Boldin trade?
Melvin White was cut this morning by the Panthers. Not a big name by any means but I wouldn't mind if we brought him in for the 4th preseason game and gave him a look. He is big 6' 1'' 205 lbs and has starting experience. He got burned a lot last year but that could have been scheme related and other factors. He is worth a look
This reminds me to the SSS presser after the Panthers game when he shredded their entire backfield. Think we are better with our guys.
Need some advice on my homer pick. Like the rest of us, I would really like to figure out who our 2nd leading receiver is going to be. Typically it is pretty straight forward but this year I'm torn. I scooped up BP as a boom or bust, but I am really considering snatching Crockett/Camp off the waivers.
By the way this will be for a WR/TE flex position.
Any thoughts?
Honeslty wasnt really impressed with Aiken or Brown thus far. Looking for SSS, BP, and Camp to steal the show. Waller is moving up the board as well
During times like this, is it optimistic to say...welp at least they are getting the injuries out of the way early...?

Yea well, all in all I hope the FO wasn't planning on BP to be our next #1. I liked what I saw from him coming out of school, but basically just reminded me of a Torrey Smith upgrade as a deep threat. Who knows though honestly, it would be very cool if this guy could evolve his route running to get seperation and YAC....but time will tell and that's all we can do.
Not huge on the idea of taking a WR early in the draft unless it's a guaranteed home run. I prefer the old school methodology where defense is king.
Bring on Ramsey/Hargreaves...THANKS
