  1. You can't buy the Lombardi, you have to build to it. Torrey is a solid building block in the Raven offense. He's never going to be "elite" (which is why I was hoping for OBJ) but he'll be worth the money we pay him in his next contract & he wants to be a Raven. We won't get stuck with any outlandish Torrey contract b/c there won't be any, just a valuable Raven.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. Hopefully we can land a number one somewhere down the road to suit up with Torrey, Pitta, Camp, and Brown as this looks like our future.

  2. I'll be honest, at first I hated the pick considering all the needs we have at other positions. Was really hoping for us to take a OL,...Lewan was close enough for a trade up and would have been the perfect fit. Although if the price isn't right than not much we can do about it.

Now, that I look at it I think it was the smart move with Daryl getting older, we can groom Mosley and Brown into our starters for the next 5 or 6 years or something. No question he has great football IQ and flys to the ball. Very happy we didn't draft Ebron..

  3. McClain coming back makes Daryl Smith less of a priority st this point. Theres no way Ozzie and the FO doubts Nick Saban in having a positive influence over Rolando this past year.. The kids only 24 and 700,000 I believe is his Salary?.. It must be Raven Nations birthday because thats a gift.

Personally, I think this guy is a clown and has had plenty of chances to clear his name. Whats with wiping your twitter account after making statements about making a come back?

Ravens cannot afford to have another player make them look like a fool for signing them this month.

Much rather get Daryl Smith back and let Rolando end up with the Jets

  4. I saw someone post this already on here, but according to a source, the Ravens interviewed Charlie Taaffe for the OC spot. I would love to see us go after a college coach. After seeing what Philly did with Chip Kelly, that would be the most exciting move to see what they would bring to the table.

So many of these other coaches are shuffled in and out of NFL teams on a regular basis, that they get characterized by their offensive scheme and tendencies. #newblood

  5. He is should be resigned. Dump Thompson and Doss and you have money to play him. He has a clear role to blow the top off of defenses. He is the best at it on the team because of his speed. He is the best PR AND KR in the league. Why get rid of a player that has a clear role and is the best in the NFL at KR/PR? He commands respect, the the Doss and Thopson don't. Doss and Thompson can be replaced in free agency or draft. He will not be too much.

    What has Thompson done???? Nothing!

What has Doss done besides show that he plays scared? He was benched yesterday for his KR/PR gaffes and inability to catch balls.

A drafted WR is no guarantee. Resign ballers. Besides, you can't knock his age because at 31, he is the fastest player on the team.

Personally, I agree with cutting Doss and Thompson. These guys have David Reed talent written all over them. If one should stay, I would keep Deonte as a backup/Specialist on PR/KR, whichever is less likely to get Jacoby hurt.

    2014 WR's

    #1 Mike Evans

    #2 Torrey Smith

    #3 Brown

    #4 Jacoby
