  1. A second round, project track athlete with questionable hands came in, provided us with solid #2 receiver play, had multiple huge games on the way to the Super Bowl, which he was integral in helping us win. And was a model citizen and leader in the community to boot. He let us down last year, sure but he made great -- yes great -- contributions in his time here. Backhanded compliments are not necessary.

Folks around here need to stop. It's disgraceful.

I wouldn't say my comment was a backhanded compliment as you claim, just my opinion as a fan.

I personally have only seen his speed playing a factor in games for us and have never been impressed with his hands and route running. A wide receiver should be able to run routes, have consistent hands, and make contested catches...I mean that's what they get paid millions to do in a football game.

Sorry, but that's the reality of the Torrey's contributions and would classify Boldin as a higher talent than Torrey everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

  2. Can we stop bashing Torrey? He was great for us, better than Boldin really, it's time to stop disrespecting the guy. He gave us everything he had and gave us some very memorable moments!

Not going to go there, but Torrey did some good things for us...not great

  3. A lot of things can happen once the season starts, but I am really excited about this rookie class. Love the fact that it was offense heavy this year, and legitimately like the combination of talent from WR & TE from all our players.

Glad to hear that Kamar Aiken is shining in OTAs. Hoping that he can be a playmaker this season. I'd like to hear how Marlon Brown is doing though, ideally I think the best starting WRs we could have are SSR at #1, Marlon at #2 and Breshad at #3 with Kamar, Camp, Waller backing them up.

I could see it panning out this way, but am not sold on Waller yet.

  4. my only worries is that the ravens may have problems stopping the run, if that happens we're on a fast track to the bottom of the division.

I wouldnt be to worried about the run this year, even after loosing McPhee and Ngata. Our DLine is very deep considering all of the young talent we have. I see Brandon Williams taking a leap in snaps and production

  5. Patterson would be a awesome pick up. I doubt Minnesota has as strong of a locker room as we do. Our coaching and WR core would get him working harder. I would prefer to see us go for speed in FA and draft a stud possession WR in the draft. I think it would be fun watching the Ravens develop a red zone threat.

I would also consider Kenny Britt or Stevie Johnson. Depending on what Ozzie is looking at in the draft.

  6. I think it depends on what receivers and corners are there. The reasonable guys to be there are Jaelen Strong, Jalen Collins, DGB, and Marcus Peters. I would, in order, take DGB, Marcus Peters, Jaelen Strong, Jalen Collins. I think DGB and Peters are the best at their positions in this draft and they will fall because of off the field. How far remains to be seen and whether the Ravens could pass on extremely high talent like that when both seemed to have shaped up remains to be seen, but I'd take a risk OK both

No way the Ravens will even think about drafting DGB after listening to the presser

  7. I don't think you can call a 2nd year player a bust after watching Jimmy Smith turn it on early this year before his injury. It took Jimmy two years to let the game slow down before he was a starter. Hopefully Matt will be the same type of play, however he has looked awful thus far when he hasn't been in the box
