  1. if you are a defensive football player who has been playing organized football for 10 years and you still can't do the most basic of defensive play which is tackling then you are not going to be an effective NFL player. you can't teach quarterbacks at this level how to throw accurately(boller) or receivers how to catch a ball. you need to come to the table wiht basic skills and progress from there. tacking is a basic skill. i rewatched the NFL replay of the cleveland browns game in cleveland. they should have cut elam after the browns game. then we wouldn't have had to live thorugh the missed tackle on third and long in the patriots game that turned into a touchdown.

  2. assuming

    Byron Maxwell, Cory Redding.

I would love to have a spot for Fitz in case he doesn't take a paycut. Time for him to have a real shot at SB.

i thought redding was done when he left the ravens. that guy is still productive at his age and years in the league.

  3. for some reason the link won't paste to the body of the message.

i was thinking over the weekend as i was watching the big ten chanmpionship how the city that stole the real Colts, the Baltimore Colts, has really prospered from this move where the economics of a pro team relocation do not usually work out.

that city hosts the NFL combine, the big ten football and basketball tournaments. they hosted the SB a couple years back between the giants and patriots. as much as i hate to admit it the relocation of the this pro team had a huge economic development on what i assume was a back woods city.
