Exactly. There are better teams who won't make the playoffs if we do.
The whole planet knows they are running it and our defense can't do ANYTHING TO STOP THEM.
Defense getting exposed. I honestly never believed this D was deserving of #1 rank. Too inconsistent. Eagles missing their best o-line man in lane johnson and they are still easily stopping our d-line

He was talking about last night only, not the entire season.

That's like trying to compare Tannehill to Russell Wilson. Come on man. Picking and choosing is not cool. Mainly because it just doesn't hold water. When people say that he's been inconsistent I absolutely agree. Give me one other team in this league that has had 7 different coordinator in 10 years. There aren't any. Give me a QB who has had 5 in the last 5 years.... There are none. And if you want to get into the nitty gritty of chemistry??? That takes time. Did Wallace drop 1 or 2 last night??? YES. So did a couple of other guys that were hit in the helmet, or right in the numbers, or right on the hands. SSS, Breshad, Dixon. A couple of them would have gone to the house... I'm sorry. Generalizations just really tick me off.
When i was comparing flacco to stafford, i was strictly comparing the hurry up offense. Flacco never shows any kind of urgency, case in point last night and i have seen this over multiple seasons which is why i am very frustrated.
About the offense being not potent in passing with flacco, are you going to keep giving excuses after excuses until flacco retires? He's already 31, how many more years do you think he has left. I am sorry for being harsh on him, but it is a fact that flacco cannot carry the offense just on passing game. I would love to be proved wrong, but so far it hasn't been the case. I agree about the part that he has had too many O coord. but then, he needs to step up and tell the coach what he wants to do. Why doesn't he ever audible? Why doesn't he hard count? Look, i am a huge ravens fan and i will always support flacco but he is not an elite qb so we need to get him a good o-line and a running game. Oh, and he needs to feed the ball to perriman more or how else do you expect perriman to breakout?
I posted this in another thread but this is basically my opinion on flacco:
I am going to be honest here and say that as long as we have joe, our passing game will never be potent. I have waited year after year but it is always some kind of an excuse. Enough is enough. It's been more than 5 years and flacco is over 30. We need a strong o-line and a run game. Flacco is not a game manager but he isn't an amazing passer either. It is what it is. I like him as our qb but just because he is doesn't mean we can't point out his flaws. Also, i have never seen our hurry up offense actually hurrying to snap ball. NO urgency whatsoever, not just this season, but many past ones also. Look at how stafford hurry ups and now look at how flacco does. Just 1 example but it drives home my point. Also, how come flacco never does hard count?
The defense this year, to me, does not feel like the past ones. This defense is good but does not put fear in the opponents. I do not get the same feeling from them which i get when i look at the seahawks defense. I don't have anything to back this up but it's a gut feeling.

The thing is though, this has been a problem for many seasons. I have never seen our offense hurry up to play hurry up offense. It's frankly disgusting to me how the coaches and players don't pick up on this obvious mistake from tapes.
THAT SPEED!!!
At first, i thought he dropped the pass but after watching the replay, that was a very tough catch to make and he did make it but then hit the ground hard so the ball popped out.
If we want consistency out of perriman then he NEEDS to be thrown at more. Throwing at him 3-4 times a game isn't exactly helping
As usual, my heart almost died.
Tucker is God. Legatron
Offense cannot be consistent for the life of them and marty is not the answer at OC
Defense NEEDS jimmy smith and pass rush before 4th quarter
God Tucker. Legatron
Congrats! Really wish we can get him a ring but our sorry butt team doesn't give a crap.
we lose because even if we force a 4th down, they will just kick a field goal
This secondary....
I think witten will be a big factor this game because he is always open in the middle of the field which is where we are weak when we play zone. Zeke is obviously a huge threat too but if we cannot pressure dak, he will torch us. I am really hyped about this matchup though.
I LOVE these uniforms. Wish these would be our official ones
The o-line is the biggest problem and if that is fixed, we can do much better and start winning games That said though, there two other big problems as well.
1. Flacco consistently throws off of his backfoot. I get that he is scared but if he doesn't step into throws, he will be throwing bad interceptions all season and miss easy throws like he has done in all games this season. The coaches HAVE to get it into flacco's mind to step into the throws.
2. Our WRs can never get separation for some reason. At this point, it has to be the WRs coach that's the problem, not even the offensive scheme because we have been seeing this for season after season. Why can't our WRs ever get separation? After this many years and different o-coordinators, it has to be the scouting/coaching problem.
One thing i would like to see more of is the dink and dunk offense like we did the 2nd quarter. It was pretty effective and we moved the chains well. Ofc, that stopped working in second half because they didn't fear our run game at all.
Garbage. Hot garbage.

hester is definitely getting cut in the offseason

It's their own fault. They couldn't stop anything so ofc they're going to be exhausted
