Well Maxx Williams is staying. Pitta is most likely gonna be on the PUP List for the first 6 weeks of the season. Reason behind this was Pitta was not medically cleared for mandatory OTA's. With that being said he rushed back fairly quickly last year, and well we know what happened into the first month of the regular season. Now Gilmore is gonna be around. They got rid of Supernaw i believe and Nick Boyle is gonna be the second run TE with Gilmore. So with Pitta not taking up a spot on the roster due to the PUP placement it will be 3 TE's instead of 4 which is Williams, Gillmore, and Boyle in that order. Touissant is most likely gonna be gone unfortunately i believe DEPENDING on how Campanaro works out. Heard he over-bulked up his hammy's (because of last year) and over did it that is why he injured himself in OTA's this year. I see Campanaro returning punts IF healthy. Yes the WR corps has been not Medicore but DISMAL through the history of the ravens really. There has been some stand-out's here and there but nothing like our defensive players. And i mean that by we draft em, build em, train em, and they hang around for the duration of their NFL career. BUT with the release of Jones, Torrey Smith AND the tenure of Steve Smith SR coming to a end either this year or next, I see ALL the WR's we had last year staying WITH the addition of maybe 1 or 2. Right now it is Smith Sr, Brown/Aiken (can choose to put either 2/3 or 3/2) Perriman, Williams(can be utilized as a WR more then a TE) and with williams he can be counted as a WR spot even though his main position is TE. So that is 5 for a addition of possibly 1-2 more since we kept 7 WR's last year. Now can also make Williams ALSO as the fill in role for Daniels who left with Kubiak to help instill his system there in Denver, just like how he did here in Baltimore last season, All in all I can see us keeping ALL the weapons from last year, WITH the addition of there being 4 TE's on the roster AFTER week 6. And mainly because that Williams can be essentially one person that can be used in 2 different positions. Instead of having a dedicated WR and a Dedicated TE. So Williams in essence I believe will HELP free up a roster spot due to the flexibility of having 1 person filling in 2 positions. Anyhow just a thought.
