  1. I tend to find punting stats to be one of the less-useful stats out there, since they largely depend on circumstance. Total yards, average yards, return yards allowed, and kicks inside the 20 all hinge on how far your offense can push it down field. Arizona's Drew Butler has the 5th most punts inside the 20, the 2nd lowest average yards/punt, and the 5th fewest retuns because his offense gets the ball down field so he can kick unreturnable balls inside the 20.
  2. Teams who can't sell out home games and routinely suffer from blackouts are the ones to play in London. That's what you often see the Jags and Bucs there. They actually make more money abroad than they would at home.
  3. I was also noticed Whitworth pulling inside on what appeared to be a designed play to push Dalton in from behind, but I wasn't entirely sure about the "Assisting the runner" rule. I've only ever seen this rare rule called when offensive players are in front of the runner and pull him forward, but I have never seen it called when a RB/FB/whoever push the runner through a pile (as stated, this happens all of the time). It seems odd that they would have this rule and not enforce it, but that seems to be the case. It creates an unfair advantage for the offense in my opinion, and I'm not just saying that because it was used against us. The offense already knows how/where they're going to run it; they can quickly put one or even both tackles and the RB/FB behind the QB before the rest of the defense even has a chance to join the pile.
  4. Arthur Brown can play the weak side while Mosley plays the middle. They are not really competing for the same position. Daryl Smith may be competition, however, but keep in mind Daryl is 32 years old. At some point, age will catch up with Daryl, while Arthur Brown catches up with experience.
