The Good: Dixon. I know he's a rookie but watching him run tonight reminded me an awful lot of Ray Rice. Like seriously. If we had Kubiak or Kubiak's offense still we'd be a shoo-in for the post-season (IMO, obviously).
The Bad: Where to start.
What's the deal with Flacco not letting a play develop? The guy checks down way too fast. I know it was hard to tell where defenders were coming from, but they rushed 3 a good chunk of that game and Flacco's checking down in < 3 seconds with no pressure near him at all.
Our defense kills me. I don't care how good they are statistically, I never feel like I can count on them with the game on the line against anything other then a trash offense.
Drops. Come on guys, seriously? The Pick? Went right through Wallace's arms. Then there was the midfield drop towards the end of the game, right over the middle.
Why is our entire offense so lackadaisical when we should be hauling butt? Why do we constantly run two yard dump offs or shallow routes over the middle of the field when we're down by 10 with 5 minutes left?
The secondary. Literally as soon as Smith went out it fell apart. Our backups suck. Wright occasionally makes some good plays as does Powers, but by and large they do nothing but get burnt.
The Ugly: Matt Elam. I don't care if it was Weddle's coverage responsibility, I haven't seen Elams name hardly at all over the whole bloody season.
That game was an embarrassment.
PS: Please, someone hire an OC that'll take us back to a heavy run and play action offense. PLEASE!
