Speaking of Will Hill III, apparently he's 230 lbs now. That's a BIG safety.
The fact that Upshaw is willing to sacrifice his stats and do what the team needs him to do to win just shows how great of a football player he is. He is selfless and is a team player which are qualities few players actually have. Even though he doesn't have great "sack production", if you actually watch him play you would know how big of an impact he has on this team. Love Upshaw for the player and person that he is and I'd like to see him stay in a purple jersey.
Melvin was my #3 before Arrington, really think he did a great job down the playoff run, and playoffs...Brings great size, and showed he can tackle....
Same, I think Melvin is the 4th best now. His worst game came against the Patriots but I'm pretty sure that he sustained his shoulder injury that game. The fact that he was signed and was pretty much a plug and play means he's a great fit for us.
Coverage assignments:
Jimmy Smith - Best/tall receiver (Demaryius, Amari Cooper, AJ, Antonio Brown, Torrey, D. Parker, Larry Fitz, Baldwin)
Lardarius Webb - Nifty, savvy veteran receiver (Boldin, Stills, Baldwin, Jennings, Kearse)
Kyle Arrington - Shifty slot receiver (John Brown, Sanu, Wheaton, Jarvis Landry, E. Sanders, Keenan)
Rashaan Melvin - Tall receiver (Martavius Bryant, Michael Floyd, C. Latimer, Bowe, Quick, Chris Matthews)
Asa Jackson (Depth)
Tray Walker (Depth)
Will Hill - Receiving TE (Jimmy Graham, Antonio Gates, Jordan Cameron, Heath, Lance Kendricks, Julius Thomas, Eifert)
Kendrick Lewis - Roaming the backfield
love your sig quote. I wouldn't trade CJ Mosley for the entire Redskins roster.....lol
ahah thanks
Just look at Cam Worthy 6'2, 42 inch vertical. I'll be rooting for him in training camp.
I looked up a picture of Tray Walker on Google and this is what I got. Hopefully this changes. He's got potential.

Look at the faces of the players on the other team after Maxx jumped over two guys LOL

Shhhh! We all know that what a person does in college has no bearing on their performance at the pro level.
Why watch film then.
Ed Reed was a great SS and the best FS anyone seen in modern era...
not comparing Elam to Ed. I think Elam has the tools to be great but not the football IQ. All of his Gator highlights showed that he can contribute to his team because he knew what he was doing and he played fast. Also safety is probably the position with the most learning curve in today's game.
NO, he's not a bust. Honestly think he just needs to spend more time in the film room. Brains over brawn. Ed Reed was a testament to that in his later years.
you male it sound like he's better than cobb. He isn't...
Why would you say that? Yeah maybe a team gets desperate with less options but Smith wouldn't be in a tier above Cobb.
Sure Cobb is better than Torrey but it's simply supply and demand in a small WR market. Teams will also consider Torrey's durability and playoff experience and the expanded cap space. Cobb isn't a WR1, he's like Eric Decker with Peyton Manning throwing the ball to him. There's a reason why he stayed in GB and he was smart to do so. Cobb also took less money to stay in GB and probably would have gotten a $15+ mill. contract if he hit the free market and left GB.
Torrey is getting PAID if Cobb is getting a $10 mill/year contract. Someone is going to pay Torrey like $13mill/year contract.
Spiller is a FA.
You still have three starting caliber RB there
CJ Spiller, Fred Jackson, Bryce Brown and LeSean McCoy? The GM does understand that you can only play one of them at a time right?
To his "defense," their O-line was trash.
Glennon outplayed him with the same O-line and was fine but yes, their O-line was trash
Same story, different day in Cleveland. Hoyer is probably going to start again next year and McCown gets cut. McCown didn't even do well with two premiere WR in Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans
Loving the picks, all of em'. People are just mad cuz it's not the picks they expected.
Moncrief is really dropping.
2nd Jarvis Landry
3rd Ed Reynolds
3rd Terrance West
JARVIS LANDRY second round!!!
Maybe John talks to Jim too much. SF is always stealing from US!!!
Johnny Football going to Cleveland?!? He better not break Cleveland's heart like how LeBron did.
I'm thrilled we got Zuttah....I was just wondering why the Bucs traded him for a draft choice.....his stats look good.....his young and talented.....was this a cap move? Glad it happened, just wondering why? Anybody know the details?
IDK for sure but it might cause they signed Dietrich-Smith and Zuttah would be an expensive backup at center, so the Bucs thought what the hell why not get a pick out of it. Win-Win for both parties I guess.

or move the 2 point conversion to the 1 yard line and award teams with a balanced run-and-pass offense, unless you are the Seahawks. This might also kill two birds with one stone and re-value the running back position.
