I'm sorry but just to put even more emphasis on how much we ignore the position, in our entire history, all the way back to 1996 we've only drafted 6 WRs with our first 3 picks. Ever. That's just insane.

... Demaryius broke his foot, Dez was a problem child, Graham was sooo raw playing only one year of football, Gronk had back surgery, TY was a small school prospect. They all had knocks to them but they just panned out and there would have been no way of knowing at the time. Ozzie just doesn't gamble as much as other GMs. Look at Mosley, he was probably the most consistent, non-flashy linebacker in last year's draft.

Ozzie is not ignoring the position, he's just not taking any chances. Players are assets and Ozzie is just thinking like a businessman. Ozzie is a HOF tight end, do you think he doesn't know what a good receiver looks like?
