  1. I recommend this video of Buck's story and his life at USC for anybody interested. It's a great watch.
  2. Guys who can fill the voids 1) DT Maliek Collins - Nebraska (this guy is really special, best part is he's a wrestler who went 48-0 in HS) 2) OLB Dadi Nicolas - Vir Tech (definition of natural pass rushing ability) 3) WR Corey Robinson - Notre Dame (6'5") 4) OLB/ILB Terrance Smith - FSU (Versatile, plays special teams but I want to see more rushing this year) 5) CB Zach Sanchez - Oklahoma (Size, ball-skills and most importantly tackling, also started across from our very own Julian Wilson)
  3. Stevonne Smith?
  4. If Perriman pans out, this Flacco nonsense will be put to bed.
  5. Of all the guys who left in FA who are you rooting for the most or will have the most success. My guy would be Tyrod Taylor (he has Watkins, Woods, Harvin, Clay to throw to, McCoy out of the backfield and a decent OL).

  6. We are the opposite of the LA Lakers who either trade for all their players or sign other big names to compliment Kobe. I think a Spurs comparison would be better suited where all their talent is homegrown, players are brought in to fit the system, management doesn't go splurging in the free market and are consistently good each season.
  7. I didn't neg ur post but I will disagree with you on this one. Yes, it is frequent that our homegrown talent leave, but Brown's situation is a little different from recent FA departees. This is Brown's third year and his contract will expire in 2016 but so is Daryl's contract, so picking up Arthur's 5th year option and then re-signing him is a must even if his price tag is heftier after a breakout year. Mosley and Brown are the future of the LB corp even if it doesn't seem that way right now.
  8. Those numbers are identical to Ziggy Ansah's measurables 6'5 40: 4.63 Vert: 34.5 Broad: 9'10 3 cone: 7.11 Tampa misused him and I see why Ozzie is hyping Means up.
  9. Am I the only one who wants to see Canty and Urban on the field together during passing situations?
  10. 2013: Defensive exodus - FIXED 2014: O-line and run game woes - FIXED 2015: Secondary concerns - FIXED (calling it already) Ozzie is one of the greatest GMs ever and I think this is the most balanced team in the NFL this year. All I want to see is Steve Smith riding off into the sunset like Ray did.
  11. Slot Jimmy in there and Rick Wagner in for Doug Free at RT and that would be the realest list nfl.com has ever made
  12. Nothing less than the Super Bowl, but isn't that every year?
  13. you're comparing stats of JJ Watt who is double teamed on every play to Jernigan who is not. You have to keep in mind that a whole O-line is trying to stop Watt so extrapolating Jernigan's stats is unrealistic. People haven't started circling Jernigan's name on their calendar just yet.
  14. The foreshadowing game is too strong lol
  15. or move the 2 point conversion to the 1 yard line and award teams with a balanced run-and-pass offense, unless you are the Seahawks. This might also kill two birds with one stone and re-value the running back position.
  16. Speaking of Will Hill III, apparently he's 230 lbs now. That's a BIG safety.

Not terrible in my opinion. Like that players can now get two points for returning a blocked FG/failed 2 pt. Conversion. We'll see how the relocated FG position plays out.

i was surprised but this is no problem for tucker

  17. The fact that Upshaw is willing to sacrifice his stats and do what the team needs him to do to win just shows how great of a football player he is. He is selfless and is a team player which are qualities few players actually have. Even though he doesn't have great "sack production", if you actually watch him play you would know how big of an impact he has on this team. Love Upshaw for the player and person that he is and I'd like to see him stay in a purple jersey.
  18. Same, I think Melvin is the 4th best now. His worst game came against the Patriots but I'm pretty sure that he sustained his shoulder injury that game. The fact that he was signed and was pretty much a plug and play means he's a great fit for us.
  19. Coverage assignments: Jimmy Smith - Best/tall receiver (Demaryius, Amari Cooper, AJ, Antonio Brown, Torrey, D. Parker, Larry Fitz, Baldwin) Lardarius Webb - Nifty, savvy veteran receiver (Boldin, Stills, Baldwin, Jennings, Kearse) Kyle Arrington - Shifty slot receiver (John Brown, Sanu, Wheaton, Jarvis Landry, E. Sanders, Keenan) Rashaan Melvin - Tall receiver (Martavius Bryant, Michael Floyd, C. Latimer, Bowe, Quick, Chris Matthews) Asa Jackson (Depth) Tray Walker (Depth) Will Hill - Receiving TE (Jimmy Graham, Antonio Gates, Jordan Cameron, Heath, Lance Kendricks, Julius Thomas, Eifert) Kendrick Lewis - Roaming the backfield
  20. ahah thanks
  21. Last year it was Mosley vs. Shazier, this year it'll be Z. Smith vs. Dupree. Love the competition.

  22. Just look at Cam Worthy 6'2, 42 inch vertical. I'll be rooting for him in training camp.
  23. I looked up a picture of Tray Walker on Google and this is what I got. Hopefully this changes. He's got potential.
  24. Look at the faces of the players on the other team after Maxx jumped over two guys LOL
