  1. Remember the last time we wore a decal... We won a Super Bowl
  2. not the greatest win but the Brown's first TD shouldn't have counted. A WIN is a WIN at the end of the day.
  3. and they said mosley doesn't hit hard shout out to Pierce and Judon
  4. We re-signed Justin Forsett lol
  5. Chris Moore looked VERY GOOD. I wonder if he can return.
  6. I bet you Suggs is just fine. Suggs loves the theatrics and is probably home envisioning his return like Batman's return after being broken by Bane.
  7. Does anyone know if Webb has gained weight for the safety position?

  8. whoa, Ramsey just tore his meniscus :o.

  9. Powers is like the Corey Graham signing. He'll be starting across from Jimmy.
  10. Jags won this draft
  11. I really liked Ramsey but I think Stanley ends up being our LT for the next 10 years.

It's not a popular opinion but I always thought Ramsey was a bit overrated, he's a safety in the NFL, I don't think he could be an outside CB and I'm hesitant to take a safety all the way at 6.

I think Ramsey is the real deal but I do agree with you, he's a safety because of his instincts, range and lack of ball-skills.

Ramsey could be another Michael Huff for all we know, we're not going to know how good or bad this draft is for 3 years.

  12. We essentially got Myles Jack.

Wentz, Geoff, Tunsil, Ramsey, Bosa, Jack

  13. We better get a third round comp out of KO!!!
  14. This will be me if we pick Laquon on draft night LOL.
  15. You are a special WR when your game tape shows you laying mean blocks on LINEBACKERS. Laquon is the WR version of Cam Newton.
  16. I don't think Ozzie favours FSU. I think he favours defensive prospects from programs with dominant defenses. Ramsey just happened to be part of two of the best defenses in the country in 2013 and this year where he played an integral parts in both years which lead to FSU's defensive dominance. On your SEC point, I don't think Ozzie is biased to one conference because of good competition. Ozzie or any GM for that matter should not evaluate talent based solely on the conference the prospect played in. I know your argument is based off the history and trends of Ozzie's 1st round picks and how most of them come from a particular conference, but I think competition is just a small variable in the FO's prospect evaluation process. If a prospect dominates at the collegiate level in any conference, I believe Ozzie will see their talent regardless of the competition they faced.
  17. I honestly don't think conference matters in this case. Ozzie has definitely been eyeing the FSU defense for a couple years now after the stellar defense FSU had in 2013 when Ramsey was a freshman at safety and after we drafted Jernigan and Brooks in that same year. Statistically FSU and LSU have had the best DB prospects in the country since 2013 Draft with FSU having Xavier Rhodes, Joyner, Darby and LSU having Tyrann Mathieu and Eric Reid. I don't think there have been any notable Gator DBs since 2013. If a were Ozzie I think I would've lost some faith in the Florida Gator prospects after Elam, but that's just me. Anyways, having a good safety prospect is rare nowadays, but having a good safety who is versatile enough to be an exceptional CB is pretty much unheard of. Ramsey has the two traits you look in a good safety: tough and smart, but Ramsey's added bonus that makes him stand out and special is his intangibles (instincts and swagger). You can say that Ramsey's flaws is that he's not a ballhawk (which I will admit his hands aren't great, but with his athleticism he is bound to be a playmaker and cause turnovers) and that he gambles too much (but isn't that what made Ed Reed great?). Other than Ramsey's need to slightly bulk up, Ramsey is the prototypical safety with 6'1" frame who can blitz and cover and can jump out of the gym (the guy holds the third best long-jump in school history and could be on the Olympic team tomorrow if his heart very so pleased) which could be a valuable asset on special teams blocking punts and FG. Ramsey can be a game-changer (or -wrecker) on two fronts of the game (defense and ST) and has all the measurables and immeasurables. What more can you ask for in a DB prospect?
  18. I don't care where or how high we pick. I'd rather tumble down the draft board a bit and put the Steelers in a position of mediocrity. Not too high on the draft board and not being able to compete for the Lombardi. The win yesterday put the Steelers in the worst possible spot. And the bragging rights that come with sweeping a division rival with a backup QB is priceless.
  19. *Ramsey Ngakoue Shepard Nonetheless, I'd still be very happy with VH3. Does Shepard not remind you of Stefon Diggs or what?
  20. Steve Smith is RETURNING next year if healthy.

  21. What made you pick Hargreaves over Ramsey?
  22. Oh sorry, I wasn't comparing Yannick to Orchard play-style wise. I was comparing their draft situations. Both guys are slower pass rushers that have draft stocks that are up in the air because of their poor 40 times. Orchard's draft stock actually rose by the end of the process only because of the Senior Bowl, but I don't think Yannick has that luxury to prove himself because he's a Junior.
  23. Bank on it. Yannick is this year's Nate Orchard.
