  1. Why Phelps name is even mentioned is beyond me... who cares he was at practice, I don't...
  2. I hope we are able to lockdown Yanda and he retires as a Raven many many years from now after a HOF career and a few more Super Bowl wins. (fingers crossed)
  3. In the words of once fan favorite Bart Scott, "Can't wait!"
  4. Was that a flag... contact past 10 yrds? lol
  5. How the whole team pass except Webb? Come on Webby, not a good look
  6. Absolutely... moreso Pitta than Smith b/c of the type of injury but definitely both... I'd even include Spiderman Webb. Two similar injuries in a short period of time is hard to bounce back from.
  7. After his 2nd injury I just can't trust him to be reliable... so whatever positive production we get from him, great
  8. If I were to guess: RB Allen will share the rock w/ Forsett in b/n the 20s while Taliaferro shares the rock with Forsett in the redzone TE Williams gets his opportunity just like every TE; it's up to him to shine like Pitta or fade like Dickson OLB Smith I think will get in often b/c we love to rotate and keep men fresh; plus if he has a specialty, we'll find it WR Perriman I believe will not beat out either Brown or Aiken at first however I think he will get in depending on match ups and certain spots in games and he'll get his opportunity to prove himself DT Davis For the same reason as OLB Smith And finally... CB Walker I don't see us going through the same injury problem w/ the secondary like last season (knock on wood) so I don't really see him getting as much PT as anyone else
  9. I hope all contribute a great deal this year with lots of production
  10. Putting Luck as a Top Tier QB is laughable... and whatelse is laughable are some of the other QBs ranked ahead of Flacco
  11. I tried to avoid this article all together... I still didn't read it but I had to comment... I think we all agree that some things are better left unsaid...
  12. I love how most of our recv'rs are well over 6'0''... except Campanaro who apparently barely makes 5'0'' lol
  13. I can see that too
  14. I think you're right. The Ravens do put extra value on the character of players and not just their ability. Yes we have had players get in trouble here and there but none were really considered selfish or egotistical... I only raised the question b/c I don't see Schaub being a Ravens backup QB for longer than a yr or 2 before he gets another chance with another team... But I think I do agree with you.
  15. I've always wondered how much help is given to players competing for the same position. Not to say Shaub thinks he can ever win the starting job here, that's laughable, but I think he wants to be a starter for another team one day again. And I think he'll at least get another chance with another team down the line. So with that train of thought, how much help do you give someone you will be competing against one day. Do you hold back knowing you want to keep that competitive edge or do you go all out and help knowing this is your chance to win a ring because if Joe does good, the team does good... hmm? Btw, Joe's no Johnny U nor is he Montana but am I the only one who can totally see Joe in the Super Bowl down by three points with 3:10 left while in the huddle look up and say, "There, in the stands, standing near the exit ramp...Isn't that, Taylor Swift!" Then leads the Ravens 92 yards downfield, and throws the winning touchdown with 34 seconds left.
  16. Notice Ngata didn't say, "This is the best defense he's ever been a part of"... And yes I expect Joe to win at least 3 more before it's over. Think about it, he SHOULD have at least 1 more already(Evans/Cundiff/and we would've smashed the Giants), we are there every yr except the yr we blew the team up, and Joe is at his best in the postseason. Not to mention Bisciotti is as big a Ravens fan as any of us and HATES to lose, along with the Wizard of Oz... The Ravens under Harbs and Joe have made the playoffs 6 out of 7 yrs and either won it all or lost to the eventual SB winner. Perennial top 2 or 3 AFC contenders every year for the last 6 of 7 yrs. As hard as it is to win a SB, I don't think it's too far fetched to say 3 more is possible for Joe.
  17. I'm reading a few posts saying they wouldn't change a thing... FORGET ALL THAT! Of course it's the Evans non-catch are you kidding me? The question is, "What If You Could Change ONE Play In Ravens History?" which means to me everything else stays the same so YES that means back-to-back SB appearances... and IMHO back-to-back SB wins... (sighs)
  18. Who's still questioning Flacco's contract?
  19. Kubiak did a great job last year with this offense but after reading this article, it seems we left a lot of plays on the field... 23rd in the league in play-action pass attempts and we had a top 5 running back? One of two teams that ran more than we passed when the box was loaded? One of the best in the league at screen passes but was 21st in attempts? Seems like we could've been a lot better.. I'm talking Super Bowl winning better. Not sure if the Ravens are big on analytics but if they aren't, they need to start.
  20. Not sure why Marty Mornhinweg is the QB coach. Seems to me we would have wanted someone with more success. Flacco may be better off with no QB coach at all...
  21. I've read some of these posts and everyone has there opinion. It looks like Aiken is listed on the depth chart as 3rd WR as of today. But I personally think Brown had a better rookie season than Aiken's rookie yr. Aiken may have more dawg in him but I still think Brown is better. Brown was ore physical last yr than his rookie yr so hopefully he'll be even more physical this yr. And it could be that SSS PT is reduced and in that case Brown might get more PT. Either way, that's gonna be one heck of a battle for #3 between Brown, Aiken, and Camp.
  22. I'm cool with it. Best player available. Evidently Pryor wasn't as high on their board as Mosley. Would've loved to grab Zach Martin but one pick too late...smh
  23. Not sure if the front office will admit it but the Steve Smith signing is a clear admission that they dropped the ball last year by trading Boldin. With that said, WELCOME TO BMORE, SMITTY!!!
  24. Just in per Adam Schefter: WR Steve Smith is a Raven!!!!!
