  1. Do you take a DPOY candidate like Tyrann Mathieu in the top 10 with hindsight?
  2. Looking at the Cardinals-Packers game, I'm really warming to drafting Jalen Ramsey. Not to play corner, or even safety. But as the role of a Deone Buchannon or a Tyrann Matheiu.
  3. With Treadwell and Smith a tier after that. Still need to look into Myles Jack. Also not sold on Stanley yet so he's a bit in flux for me.
  4. If we don't get Ogbah, Ramsey, Stanley or Hargreaves, I'd be very disappointed. In my eyes, those are the next tier after Bosa and Tunsil.
  5. McCaffrey is still a true sophomore, so he isn't eligible. Too bad that we're tanking in a year without someone like that at the top :/
  6. Frankly it's a good thing. We were too far down for Bosa or Tunsil anyways. So now we can take whichever stud happens to fall to us without feeling guilty, like an Ogbah or even a Jalen Ramsey if he ends up dropping into our lap.
  7. Yannick plays big time against big time competition. The things that worry me about him are missing some tackles and most importantly, his complete lack of a bull rush. He wins with his hands and quickness, but he gets stopped cold any time he attempts a straight bull rush. I am optimistic that an NFL weight room can add this to his repertoire, and that would push him deep into steal status at the top of the 2nd.
  8. I'm not saying we should take him because OLB and LT are bigger needs at this point and we have acceptable depth along the line, but if we do take a Dlineman high I definitely think it should be him.
  9. Why is there no hype for DeForest Buckner? He's a longer, more consistent Nkemdiche that constantly demands double teams and finds ways to beat them. Nkemdiche is one of the flashiest D-linemen, no doubt, always good for one or two splash plays a game. But he is not nearly as dominant as Buckner on a play to play basis from what I have seen.
  10. I feel bad for Joe because he's carried us with subpar receivers for years (in compared to top offenses around the league), but I think he may need to do it in 2016 too. Because our biggest problem is still pass rush. And then LT. Hopefully we can find a stud in the third a la TY Hilton or Keenan Allen, because I don't think our first two rounds can be a WR.
  11. I think Desmond King would definitely be better in off coverage. I'd be interested in seeing him at safety, although I'd need to see it before pulling the trigger thinking he will fit that role.
  12. Although who knows, the 2015 draft class could blow up next year and drag us deep into the playoffs, paired with a quickstarting 2016 class. This offseason is going to be vital.
  13. Harbaugh just declared today that Webby will be permanently moved to FS or nickel. I frankly think it's about time, and could potentially have big effects on our offseason if he is a stud at that role. Safety could become much less of an issue, to the point where VH3 over Ramsey, for example, is an inevitability. Same with KO's move to left tackle. If only we could do something about Monroe's contract. We've really been burned by Rice, Pitta, and Monroe these last few years. 2016 has the potential to be another building year unfortunately.
  14. I was watching Tyler Boyd originally, and there's tons of love for him as a potential second round pick. Based on the Iowa vs. Pittsburgh tape, Desmond King is the better player. And he brings turnover ability, which right now is coming only from Webby in our entire secondary. We are among the worst turnover differential teams in the NFL and our entire franchise history right now, and I think King could really help turn that around.
  15. Desmond King has 8 interceptions in 13 games this season, but more importantly seems to have a knack for turning his head and finding the ball in the air from what I've seen. This was particularly evident against Tyler Boyd, where he gave up 2 catches for 30 odd yards and got 2 picks, including one taken away in the end zone. Could you point me towards the games where he showed poor ball skills?
  16. Another prospect I think is not getting enough hype as a potential 2nd round steal is Desmond King. Hes been mentioned before, but watching tape on Tyler Boyd, the man who stood out was King. Absolutely handled him and most importantly, had 2 picks on the day. He set a high school record for picks with 29 in Michigan and has only continued that success in college. We need that turnover ability in our secondary, and I think he can provide that. Not convinced he's immediate impact starter, but situational turnover guy, key special teamer, and building block to a better Ravens future.
