  1. I am very much in favor of this scenario, Treadwell has really grown on me.
  2. If we can manage to pick ahead of the 49ers, we can try and hold them hostage for Goff. Get an extra first for 2017 potentially.
  3. I totally agree. We need players that can close out wins, and that's OLB, CB, and S. Or AJ Green against the Ravens.
  4. Plus 5'11" is generous. I wouldn't be surprised by a 5'9" measurement at the combine.
  5. I like Dez too. Treadwell in the first and Yannick or Desmond King in the second would be fantastic. Although if we beat Cincy, we might not get a shot at a second round guy we really want.
  6. I concur, he's far more comfortable getting after the ballcarrier than having some coverage responsibilities as a true 3-4 OLB.
  7. Fair enough, I see that. Yet I still think our biggest issue on defense is pass rush. We'll see how the dice fall; if he's the BPA, I'd be happy to have him.
  8. I still think there's a shot to beat Cincy, so that could change our draft fate drastically. Put us in range for Carl Lawson in the 1st, and trading up in the second for whoever is sliding to us.
  9. If we're healthy, we can compete for the Super Bowl. I believe that pre draft and free agency. The fact is we probably won't be, so we're going to have to go BPA like always.
  10. As long as he's running wild and free, he'll be a stud. He also brings to mind Alec Ogletree of the Rams, except more of a pass rusher than a MLB. Floyd brings up a lot of NFL names.
  11. Agree with the better pass rush but worse coverage. I am not opposed to him, but he isn't at the top of my choices. Carl Lawson and Treadwell are better players imo. But he's a fun chess piece no doubt.
  12. I like the first two picks, haven't looked at Brothers or Nassib yet.
  13. Yeah, these two games are what really clinched it for me. Even when Ole Miss's qb was putting some moves on, Lawson was disrupting the entire offense. I'll take one sack and five pressures over two sacks and nothing else all day. Being a pass rusher is about constantly creating chaos, and he did that like a boss.
  14. I actually see Floyd as a run and cover linebacker more than a pure pass rusher. More of a Jaylon Smith than a Bosa. And until he puts some weight on, I don't see that changing. His body type is a ton like Barkevious Mingo and that scares me.
  15. So basically, no reason to spend a 2016 pick on an RB. Not with Forsett, Taliaferro, Javorius Allen and Terrance West still in the mix, and with such a stacked class coming.
  16. If his stock takes a hit like Bridgewater did, some team is going to be extremely lucky to have him.
  17. I really do like Treadwell a lot. Even more so than his receiving gifts, I love the way he blocks. He's the best blocking wide receiver I've seen in the draft. He's tough as nails. And he is also not a diva. He's as blue collar as they come. But with all that said, my man crush on Carl Lawson is still winning out. But hey, if we end up with Treadwell and King, or Treadwell and Yannick, I'm still decently happy.
  18. If we trade down and take someone's first rounder in 2017, and that team bombs, we'll be set up pretty good. And either Fournette or McCaffrey would be crazy. Especially McCaffrey. All he does is win, in the run, pass, and return game.
  19. Hopefully he'll be there even if we pull a Ravens move and win at Cincinnati. He did indeed put a whupping on Tunsil. He's my most fun prospect to watch since Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack.
  20. Admittedly we have the 10th ranked defense right now, but against subpar people and way too little too late. Plus our defense is getting old at key spots like pass rush.
  21. Thus proving the media knows nothing. We have a top 15 offense this year with 5 of our original 6 receivers on IR. All those kids (and one angry adult) can play too. If we can stay healthy, we are going to make some waves in 2016.
  22. Unfair comparison. Time will tell if his risks pay off, but it's impossible to know right know. Ed Reed wasn't Ed Reed right out of college.
  23. I think I am with you here. Man oh man is he a blast to watch. Here is my dream first two rounds: Round 1: Carl Lawson Round 2: Desmond King Hello Ravens Defense. We've missed you.
  24. Speaking of which, Carl Lawson handled Laremy Tunsil. Drew double teams for most of the game, and demolishes the offense when they choose not to. I love this kid.
  25. If it makes you feel better, we didn't trade for him because we didn't have any cap room, not because the pick was too high. Although he has been tearing the league up. The Jets GM is hitting it out of the park so far.
