Im glad Ozzie finally got a Center. Now I just checked Rotoworld for the sabermetrics on this guy and where he ranked in the NFL because I never heard of him. The good news is hes better then Gino, but not a Pro bowler. Out of 35 possible Centers Gino ranked dead last last year, Zuttah ranked 22nd. He more athletic durable and younger he also will have the protection of 2 Pro bowlers Yanda and K.O. at G. And Rotoworld said Ravens are trying to do longterm deal with him, we'll see.

Definitely better then what we had though.

Im also in favor of ED REED for a couple year band aid, I keep seeing that pop up. Yes hes slower and a one arm tackler basically because of the Labrum issues. However his football IQ and leadership, ball hawking ability is better then any available FS even at his age. He had 3 INTS with the Jets which is basically the Ravens Defensive Scheme with some tweaks in limited time because he started and was misused in houston.

I have no problem with Ryan Clark for a couple year band aid FS, for the right price. I still prefer a O Line move so we only need 1 pick in the draft used for early on for O line 2nd or 3rd round. Centers Kyle Cook and De La Puenta are still out there.

4 for 14, 4.5 guarunteed. Great deal even though 14 seems like a lot for a mostly PR/KR Deep Threat Homerun hitter, its likely back loaded like most contracts so really its only a 2 maybe 3 year deal

Ozzie gor Monroe, now do what it takes to retain D Smith and Graham especially since Karlos Dansby and D.Jackson are both gone and Smith is the only 3 down MLBr that is legit left. And unless your getting Revis or Cromartie, or Talib, Oz better retain Graham for 3rd Corner.

Other moves I would approve.. D.Ware or Julius Peppers both who are cut, you never have enough Pass Rush 2 HOF calibur players for a 2-4 year deals to end their career that would be perfect. Steve Smith if he gets cut...

Were going to have a GIANT hole at Linebacker, the middle of our defense will be wide open. Say we retain Monroe or get Mack, kudos either way to Oz and upgrade to Oline. Then maybe they bring in a cut WR named Steve Smith for Veteran physical WR Boldin esque, but we lose Graham, D Smith, and Art Jones the last one expected.

Oz has work to do toplug middle Linebacker and 3rd CB, maybe a Champ bailey or Darelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie, for 3rd CB... But with names like that its be better off resigning Graham.

Maybe if Smith thinks its better to walk, try getting Karlos Dansby, for a couple years.. Our LB core is going to [profanity deleted]s with Josh bynes and Art Brown. One misses half their tackles and cant get off a block, Bynes, the other is small chase linebacker weakside help in Brown. Now maybe Brown put weight on this year to take on the Ray Lewis, Smith role but without a true bonefied MLB like Smith or Dansby were going to get crushed over the middle
