Surfside, lets not forget T.West broke off a 50 yarder that got called back. So lets not axt like they cant run but when your running it 10 attempts or whatever a game West has no chance to break off 2-3 30-50 yard gains and shift time of possession, and keep our defense fresh, and keep joes throws in the 35 attempt range limiting turnover chances. I liked this team better and majority of fans I believe did too when they had an identity. An that indentity was "Ravens Football" Punch you in the mouth, Smashmouth put the fear of God Defense in the opposing team. Smash mouth offense run the ball 30-35x a game, limit chances for turnovers...Kubiak style playaction bombs and TEs over deep middle. Not Harbaugh and current operation of cliches from cliche .com while chuck&duck 45x every week. Harbaugh wouldnt know "Tough" unless Ray Lewis tackled his backside and squirreldanced all over Bmore. Media are putting on drafting*

The other thing too... Im not buying the falicy some in the media are putting o Look at some of the players they have drafted since 2008, and when you factor in your paying 20million for a bottom 20 performing Qb you cant retain your own alot. 2011, Jimmy Smith(paid), Torrey Smith, Pernell McPhee all 2nd contract worthy players especially 2 defensive guys but with Joe winning SB next year...couldnt do it. 2010, Pitta, and Art Jones. They made right calls on them I could point at B.Williams,Jermigan, and players this year who look good.. And for the neysayer nope Im not forgetting Art Brown or Kindle etc but everyone misses..dont just act like Cap and Joes contract doesnt factor into losing many quality players though

5 Thoughts... 1) Beating a Dead Horse is good until someone at 1 Winning Drive gets the message. 6straight 40plus pass attempt games 4 straight losses, and 2 straight years pass addicted offense. Its obvious Coach is not trlling Trestman or Marty to RunThedangBall hes letting them go free and pass addicted gameplan thats hurting both our defense and offense. 3) No Excuses for not stopping the run game even without elite run defenders like Sizzle,Mosley in the game. On the bright side Judon,Pierce,Jernigan,Williams all got sacks, totalling 5, but it went for nothing cause if you dont stop the run you lose Time of Possession. You gas your defense, and then when your offense is pass addicted like Marty,Trestman gets a bunch of 3&outs or stalling it hurts more 4) Joe Flacco- Regardless of excuses or reasons that could be laid out for a supposed top 10 qb getting 20million hes not performing like a top 20 qb. Below a 80 qb rating INTs higher then TDs again, and yes having him throw 40x a game is hurting him but hes gotta step up or Ravens need to look at drafting a replacement in a year or 2. Not only his play hurting this franchise but inability to keep quality players like KO, etc cause a 20million underperforming player. Either take a pay cut like Brady&others to 8,10mil range..or step your game up..or be replaced. 5) What else is there to say really besides..its like smashing your face against a wall watching this team. Every fan knows the problems but people at 1 winning drive continue to give us Cliche from cliche .com instead of fixes.

Also Im starting to get on board with fans who say draft a new franchise Qb in next couple years. I completely agree OCs and coaching has been garbage hurting offense and flacco throwing 40x every week for last 2 years.. But Joe putting up a 70Qb rating or there about is god awful and unacceptable too. A 20million dollar Qb has to put up top 10 qb numbers high 80low 90 qb rating at worst.. And Joe is under performing at much as coaching is hindering him by being pass addicted.

You could add a 6th key to the game... It'll be a season long issue especially if Sizzle is not in the game. (He'll be back for Steelers) Get a pass rush,blitz, send 5,6 but get a rush. They dont have the talent 4 on 4. So you gotta scheme up blitzes. Do it Pees. Then Next Year, draft a Von Miller,Sizzle type franchise HOF caliber edge rusher. Not these overachiever types like Correa and Koufusi

Jimmy Smith looks to be playing but if he got knicked up mid way through the game or something. Pees change up the coverage go cover 2, man under.. zone up more., etc Fix the issues from last game. No reason 1 WR should have 200 yrds just cause Jimmy leaves tge field. 4) TakeThePoints. This goes Triple for Coach Horrible. I dont care what the analytics say if its the first 3 quarters and its a 1 possession game or closer, and Redzone offense fails. Take the points, instead of making a bad decision. 5)Make big plays of our own in the pass game, and Run the ball effectively 25-30x

Totally disagree Eisenberg..its a Must Win. 3-4 going into bye with Steelers, Cowboys,Bengals 3 of next 4 weeks w/ Awful Browns in between. Theres no gamechanger in this group maybe Judon can be good but wheres the next Sizzle,Von Miller etc Start drafting highest talent, stop drafting character low ceiling players. Space11jams, we agree to disagree.. You give coach horrible a pass Im not. He wanted a less flambouyant, less talented..more overachieving high character type team...in his mold. Hes got it. And every week his decisions or lack thereof swing the game. Im not going for it on 4th down like we are the Greatest show on turf. And he had a defiant stance in his presser like "if thats the HC you want thsts what I'll be" uh coach..I want you to understand who the NFL is and Ravens are. Ravens historically play close games, NFL historically is a 1 possession league..so he can give rhetoric about different games and outcomes etc...but proof is in the pudding games wouldnt change Ravens always play close games.. Just read a great piece over at RSR done by Tony Lombardi bout Harbaugh seat getting hotter. Talking bout every recent draft and his influence of taking character guys, not Flambouyant highest ceiling guys. And he questions whether Ray,Ed,Sizzle,Ngata would have ever been drafted under coach horrible. Whos montra of taking high character overachievers, as being outdated and killing the Ravens. Fans have said this for years. Get back to taking DOGS,Killers. Not the "Character" Guy..take the Chris Mccalister,Noah Spence,Ray Lewis etc top 10 talent, personality alpha males.. not the Correas,Koufusis low ceiling character guys For this Coach Horrible may lose his job
