  1. If we don't wind up with deforest Buckner and Jason hatcher is still on the market... I don't see why we won't get him... He's getting up there in age but I still believe he can win one on one matchups in rush situations... And he was a cap casualty which Ozzie likes... Thoughts?

  2. Cinci choked again ... Burfuct is a thug ... Hill coughed the game up ... Porter had no business being on the field ... Oh well the Bengals still doing what the bengals do

To state what the pundits said after the game: If Marvin Lewis cannot control his players, perhaps he shouldn't be coaching. I agree with that statement. The Bungles drought continues.

And when he took out antonio brown... i really want to see the whole play again and have it focused on burfict... because on one replay I kinda saw that he changed paces to speed up once AB dropped the ball to hit him... That being said the only thing I didnt like was what primetime brought up after the game how nantz and phil simms were trying to insinuate a dirty hit on burfict when he took out Ben... Like I said Porter had no business being on the field... and I like how the bengals said a...

But did they? I'm pretty sure they lose a lot of big games they could won that's the whole point of them

MaCarron was doing alright in that game, Vontaze Burfict contributed to that loss with that stupid penalty.

Yea he was OK.... But they still did what the Bengals do

  4. Sometimes you guys dont make one lick of sense... All i hear from you guys is how you are turning on ozzie because he doesnt draft well... meanwhile at the same time you want us to fight to lose a couple more games onkly to move up a couple more spots in the draft.. so whats the difference between pick 4 and 6... what if 4 is a bust and 6 is a probowler? would intentionally losind and giving up on your team really that significant? smh.

You realize if we trade down we would be getting a 2nd round pick this year or a 1st round pick next. Trading into the top 5 is costly, we would come away with a nice haul if we traded back.

The point im trying to make is realistically what the point on bashing ozzie and giving up on your team for the last three games just for 2 spots realistically in the draft

at legend... that's why I don't want the 1st pick. The 2-5 range would be perfect trade bait.

  5. these last few weeks, especially after the bye... i love what i am seeing from our defensive scheme... we are implementing more cover 2 and more cover 3 zone with both corners playing relatively close to the ball. Also installing some 43 and giving exotic blitz looks... dean pees has been doing his job for a good stretch now... your thoughts?

But our secondary did get torched in cinci and Ben was out in Pittsburgh...that's what he's talking about. Our defense has been playing better though so let's hope they keep it going.

  6. am i the only one tired of hearing people saying we need better young players. i mean not everyone steps in from day one are high caliber starters. we have players that we have rebuilded over the last 2-4 years that are legitamite such as mosley b will jimmy smith will hill juice lorenzo kamar urschel upshaw and wagner... and we have gobs of players with shown potential in guys like carl davis perriman buck allen zach orr zadarius smith chris givens hurst jernigan and myers not to mention y...

I would bet $10mil isn't the going rate for a cornerback that couldn't cover a midget with a wooden leg!! If he were a free agent this year he wouldn't get half that.

Flashy isn't necessarily what counts. Neither was Courtney Upshaw, but he's still important for what we do up front. Someone has to do the work that helps others get their stats and prevents yardage happening.

I agree with the above statements. I love Daryl Smith, but Father Time remains undefeated. Daryl is becoming the latest victim.

Hold your horses. Most of us thought the secondary would be better this year, and that we'd be in the playoffs again.

Like others have mentioned, top draft picks aren't a guarantee for success, and something needs to happen with the coaching staff, something is and his been off for some time.

I don't think we can just automatically assume anything about next year, when we're coming of an abysmal season such as this current one. Only thing that's for sure is that...

    4. gabrielgrissom

      gabrielgrissom

yea but we have had no stability in our secondary since it was reed landry mcalister and samari in the back end. This group barring something major that pops up will be together for at least through 2017... thats the biggest issue. I thought yesterday we played as well a we played in denver and about as good as a game we have played all season. So I think there is potential for us as a team and potential in player such as zadarius, will davis, buck allen, john urschel, zach orr, and of course...

2004 is when I first was getting into football, and 2004 is When I got my first Madden game. On the cover was Ray Lewis. I thought he looked cool so I started playing his team the "Ravens" a lot. After that I wanted to watch real games of theirs and fell in love with how they played. Defense is my favorite aspect about football and the Ravens were lights out. After that I've followed them ever since. Just a little story I wanted to share, sorry if it's a big post.

yea for me i got my first football game and it was espn nfl 2k5 and i liked all the talent the ravens had on defense and i started playing with jamal lewis a lot and they kind of just grew on me. It hit me one day that i dont have a favorite team for any sport. So i figured might as well be a ravens fan.
