Because everyone thought last year at the start of training camp everyone had thought for sett would be our starting running back of the future ray rice would be gone some kamar Aiken would be our #1 received and Daniel brown would be double moving people and scoring late in the year.

out of all these i like the BWill comment the most heck have him drop back a few times and air it out.. heck maybe send him out there as our XP kicker

Its about time someone from the ravens said something about these officials... i mean its just ridiculous this year... and anyone who has paid attention to football this year has noticed it... I hate people who whine about officials but i mean even this has gone way too far i mean if you bring up the stats and the penalties that have gone against us it has been ridiculous... And i think this started waaaaayyyyy back in philly during the preseason i knew they would not give us calls this year... i think we had like 22 penaties that game compared to there 3... i mean i remembered we went for 2 that game and konrad rueland had made a cut block and they threw a personal flag penalty on that... it was the same call they called against us last week... i mean you look at the cardinals game this year... Jacksonville... oakland... miami... philly... the first cleveland game... i mean its been absolutely ridiculous this year... and its all across the league this year too i know one team that comes to mind is the bills... i mean they did a terrible job when they went to london when they play new england of all people *wink wink* and in the cheifs game during the two minute drill with terrible spotting... and wat does good ol goodell say? These officials have been extraordinary...

is it me or what? Ive never seen alex smith 'light up a secondary like christmas'... Come on dude Id love him on a future contract not right now though... Love the way he has worked... But he is not at a starting NFL level right now would love him as depth. True but I just can't see that happening... With pierce it was more of sneaky speed that could break away big runs... He was more of a home run hitter then the league took notice... I don't know maybe its my liking for buck... But I liked him ever since I watched film on him before the draft. In my honest opinion the top 5 running backs out of college last year was turkey and Gordon, abdullah, Jay Ajayi, and buck Allen... One thing he has to improve on though is his vision for the backside... Sometimes I will watch him and the backside will be there to hit but sometimes he will settle for just running into a wall... He does have the elusiveness as a pass threat that we so desperately needed

And I want to hit on drafting sure we've had our misses in these last few years (Sergio kindle, Arthur brown), but I mean look at who we have picked up these last few years... Dumervil for I think 32 million... Canty for cheap... Steve smith sr for cheap... Juszczyk in the fourth round... Kamar Aiken as a free agent... Will hill for the league minimum and extended him for cheap... Forsett from the dumpster wiped him off now resigned him for cheap... Sizz's contract we have whittled down these last few years... Picked up CJ Mosley... Picked up Small school Brandon Williams in the third round... Picked up Timmy jernigan... Lawrence guy off the streets... Lets see Wagner was like a sixth round or fifth rounder... Urschel was in the sixth round... Zuttah got in a trade... And were getting maybe over ten draft picks next year due to compensatory picks... In my book ozzies doing a great job... We can't have 53 ed reeds or ray Lewis's or Jonathan ogdens

But the thing is first of all jimmy is playing hurt just like rick Wagner is, second of all you said trademark of bad teams like we are a bad team... 6 of 8 years in the playoffs 3 AFC championship appearances and a ring too... That's not a bad team last time I checked...See from what I'm seeing is your philosophy is by overpaying bad players the solution is overpaying good ones too?

If we lose daryl... Really liked him since jacksonville, but big whoop he sucks in coverage anyway i believe we are prepared for zach orr to step in and ball out, kendrick is exactly like stew was last year, we all thought he sucked until late in the year and what do you know he has started to figure things out over the last few weeks. And if your complaining about a hurt jimmy smith... The only player in our secondary who can catch a ball in webby who has been actually been having a pretty solid year... Shareece wright who has been solid as can be since SF and will davis who was ballin before we got hurt... I mean come on this secondary can be nasty next year... And would you want suggs and doom across from one another next year or not i mean come on the B Will contract situation is looming on us though... I really hope we keep him and CJ. I understand the likes for brown givens and butler... But honestly i cant see them making our roster next year or waller too for that matter... I believe this team will really like kaelin klay and reserve a roster spot for him as a returner throw in breshad kamar i cant see leaving and lets be honest do we really think steve is gonna go. You get a reciever in the draft and thats it... Think if dennis comes back next year... We could possibly come into next season with 4 tight ends and 3-4 running backs depending on lorenzos health... We wont have the need to have 6 wideouts with the talent we have at tight end and fullback we can run 2 tight end sets with or without a fullback and be perfectly fine. and you know the crazy thing about it. As far as I can remember we have been one of the more disciplined teams in the league I know last year we were like top 5 in least penalties called... Maybe these refs want to just see us lose. Makes you wonder if there is a Tim Donaghue scene going on with these refs behind closed doors

Our depth really improved this season i remember coming out of the preseason that was our weakness that if something like what happened this season happened where everyone gets hurt will we survive... Weve competed soo well and had talent performing at an adequate level we just arent coming up with wins

Exactly... all canty did for his tenure here was sit on the sideline or play hurt... he came back this season and is on a tear... When we pay a dude 40 million and its only injuries thats holding him back... im willing to wait... we need a better replacement because hurst can move his feet at all and cant time a punch at all
