  1. Imagine if will davis could get back to the level he was playing at last year...
  2. Mckinnie had 4 good games as a raven and that's when it counted the most... He SUCKED before he got traded to Miami... That's why we got eugene
  3. No... not really i always thought they were some punks that think there the best team in the league... but they never win anything soo...
  4. I lookd something up in the stats today and i had to take another look... our defense has allowed the least penalty yards on defense in the nfl... im actually really surprised
  5. bad play by ryan... wasnt forced out the pocket and needed to throw it away when he threw it
  6. So far good game by Urschel... best game by hes had at the center position by far... and great play by the special teams there
  7. 'were going to have an offsides here on the ravens' whew wow
  8. lol its the "other guy" thats a little off today
  9. How about chris carter getting a few speed rushes in drew a holding call on the best left tackle in the game
  10. Yeah... well that sucks... rooting for jensen today too
  11. Kamar can break a record today with 9 straight games with 5+ catches in franchise history... lets go offense
  12. Im concerned about tray walker I feel like when can he get on the field and is he a wasted pick?
  13. Right I'm not saying there ed reed... But you can't say will doesn't have range I mean just look what he did in ny
  14. I agree but what I believe happened was we didn't have game breakers we didn't have a Torrey smith an effective running game to set up anything this year... I think if its one thing we have learned was going into the year, at least I thought and I believe some of the team thought that with the west coast system we had we didn't need home run hitters... We relied too much on our oline and running game... We didn't have solid depth behind those either... I know team are supposed to overcome obstacles but I mean you have to admit we went through a LOT this year and I'm not sure any other team could have done more with what we were given
  15. And I see where your coming from but I mean thrill its not like he doesn't have range
  16. But we get beat deep anyway... thats the thing and if we arent getting beat deep the opposition is drawing a PI on us
  17. They wont be respected by me until they have at least gave up a fight in the playoffs im talking have a powerhouse on the ropes reach the afc championship at least... Us and the steelers weve been through meaningful wars... won afc championships won superbowls... what have the bengals done in the last 25 years?
  18. Well first of all suggs played a half of the opening day so we never really held a losing record under him... secondly We started out with no continuity under the o-line when eugene got hurt the third play of our season... Wagner and jimmy have been hurt all season, which in turn caused trestman to have no faith in our run game. We all knew even if healthy going 3-4 wasnt all too bad of a stretch considering how rigorous of a schedule we were facing... never mind all the injuries and officiating that have not bounced our way this year. Those first 9 games I would say if one simple thing bounced our way we win those games... in denver if steve catches the ball while he was wide open in the end zone we win... in oakland if will hill doesnt get flagged on some iffy PI call and his int stands or if trestman doesnt decide to throw the ball out of nowhere down in the redzone on our final drive we win... We all know about jacksonville. Cinncinati is one of those games we truly lost... in cleveland if barnidge doesnt catch the ball with his feet we win... in SF if jimmy doesnt get flagged on a phantom holding call we in all likelihood win that game... if some ref doesnt make a terrible OPI call in miami we win that game... If we are healthy and get 50% of those scenarios to bounce our way were in the playoffs and we all know what type of magic happens for us in the playoffs... and to the cap point... we have just had a sizeable amount of misfortune take it however you want it i dont care... We sign justin to a three year 9 million dollar deal... GREAT value... we get elvis dumervil for 5-35 i believe great deal... we snag BWill in the third round we get CJ mosley Jimmy smith Timmy jernigan KO Crockett Maxx... daryl smith i believe for like 4-12... chris canty 2-6... will hill has been a TREMENDOUS success k lew* 3-9 (you might be one of his doubters so I will throw an *asterisk by him) steve 3-15 great value kamar as a tendered deal... Now I mean im not just about to sit up here though and not acknowledge that we have missed on people like Dennis in what I thought was a terrible deal... eugene was just bad luck but has been solid when out there on the field matt elam courtney to an extent art sergio mount cody jah reid Kyle we did a 3-9 on him I believe... the whole ray rice scenario was just so unfortunate... Matt schaub I really dont know the thought process behind that one... but i mean look at what we have picked up from the late rounds or the street... Rick wagner john urschel jensen looks like he is starting to come on... kamar jeremy butler is starting to look solid... we found a backup quarterback the other week for next year off the street... terrance west buck nick boyle... zadarius juice.... Ill tell you one thing I wouldnt want anyone else over ozzie for the general manager job right now than him
  19. Ehhh i dont know about all that i thought if healthy we were a solid pick to at least go really deep in the playoffs if not all the way to the big game. But like i said he was going to maximize his salary and PT combined and were we ready to pay a role player more than at least 40 million who had been injury prone who besides a solid rookie year had one year of solid production... There are some players that we just cant hang on too
  20. Bosa can drop into coverage too every now and then so he could fit he's smart in not over pursuing the backside as an edge setter... I believe he could fit into this system and philosophy very well if we decide to keep it in the off season... I know we have already ran some 4-3 with cj Daryl and Zach and we look comfortable and we have also lined as you said cj at the Sam side and has been productive. So I see where your going with the idea. I only look at yard stats just to feel a sense of pride in the way our defense plays... I hardly ever go on nfl.com to look up useful info... Because its filled with fantasy guys who think they know everything... They talk about us having the worst pass defense in the league and that is just falsified. First of all i doubt they know who shareece wright k lew or will hill do. I think all they know about is jimmy and lardarius off name and they say guys like marcus peters is a lockdown corner... Just a bunch of guys who never played the game looking off stats. Thats what all the big networks do. And sometimes we will keep b will in our 4-3 defense in pass rush situations in the middle and he is always clogging 2 guys thats what gave guys like timmy and zadarius like 3 or 4 sacks last game bedause they get 1 on 1s all the time when b wills in He doesn't let our players play... THATS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH DEAN PEES. You can talk ALL you want about what he's accomplished but ever since he got here all he does is say don't get beat deep... So he curls up in his little shell calls cover 3 off no matter if its third or 4th and one and keeps our darn defense on the field... I remember last weeks wired that made the whole point of why we hate dean... Zach orr was covering someone in zone and the ball came to his man which he was two yards away from... He said he did not want to pick it off because he did not want to get beat.... THAT IS WHY WE ARE STILL ON THE FIELD the only players who ever want to grab a dang ball is jimmy and lardarius and jimmy just can't catch so that's one out of the two gone and the only reason why Daryl ever catches anything is when they throw it right too him as if he was the receiver.
  21. It went from an annoying distraction to hated rival when they beat us and vontaze burficts you know what chanted 0-3 bottom of thedivision baby after they beat us...
  22. Good point and to Bryant as I recall he fell some spots in the draft to some off the field concerns I got no clue on and don't want to know because quite frankly he's a Steeler and I shouldn't care... I'm not saying that oz should ignore our wide receiver situation and when we have weaknesses he is a bull on getting good talent the following year. We were terrible on the oline during the 2013 season then look at our oline in 2014... When pitta (still is) hurt and OD left last year we went in on our tight end position and now it is a huge strength on our team... The thing is though is that we have a sizeable surplus in backs and tight ends... Next year mean we could wind up carrying 5 backs and 4 tight ends... That marginalizes our error in wide receivers... Sure he is going to get someone who will flourish for us next year... He's Ozzie that's what Ozzie does... But with players like JB and Kamar emerging this year we might need only 5 receivers 6 at most so it won't be like we have to scour and get every available receivers on the market or In the draft... We can store some of these potential players on PS next year like Matthews or Dan brown who have game experience due to this years injuries in case we are injury stricken again next year... So I like what I see and even though I really do hate them I could see us with talent like the Bengals have this year on the offensive side of the ball
  23. and to be frank with you I'm pretty sure he is not the only overpaid corner in the league... That was the general consensus coming out of free agency last year was that everyone was overpayed
