  1. just shows me that we are shutting it down for the season. Im glad that the coaches are realizing the situation... but it still kinda sucks that we arent going to be anything this year. Good for Urschel too well get too see our KO replacement put in work
  2. I called this right after the game ended once i had found out that we had been screwed i knew the nfl wasnt going to do anything about it. Its crazy how something like that will happen in college but not in the nfl... first they shut out our lights... i remember that year they tried to fine ed reed like half a million for a helmet to helmet hit.. or something ridiculous like that... i just think that this league is a joke when they do that against us but let greg hardy play... i know im rambling and the post doesnt make too much sense but it makes me wonder
  3. I dont necessicarily think this is a rebuilding team... I think we have the talent around us to have a optimism for next season.... we just had no depth this year and that was the thing out of the preseason... remember last season we were projected at least to make the playoffs this is a really good team with really good talent that just simply cant win games
  4. and we dont need osemele. If its one player that we can afford to let go this offseason its KO. Love him but john urschel is completely competent at guard on both side of the line. Hurst on the other side... ehhhhh......
  5. And I sorta thought the same too but this was the same case with stew last year he kinda sucked in the beginning but came on down the stretch... I thought Kendrick played fairly well today besides the dropped int. What this secondary hasn't had is continuity... In 2012 it was end and pollard in 13 it was Elam and diggs in 14 it was stew and Elam now its Kendrick and will... This secondary is signed until 2017 so I don't really think that the secondary is going to be bad forever I just think it needs time. It sucks because we played sooooooooo well today on both sides of the ball and came up a tenth of a second short from a victory.
  6. I love the thurmond signing as well... BUT we aren't gonna sign him... As far as I know this secondary will be with us at least until the end of 2017... I don't see us getting him when we have larger needs such as rb/wr pass rusher and line depth as well as possibly an edge setter
  7. we won't make it this year but there's always next year
  8. As the way its shaping out next year we will have steelers bengals browns twice dallas ny giants philly and washington the jets bills phins pats chiefs and one of the afc south teams ... any thoughts

Hold your horses. Most of us thought the secondary would be better this year, and that we'd be in the playoffs again.

Like others have mentioned, top draft picks aren't a guarantee for success, and something needs to happen with the coaching staff, something is and his been off for some time.

I don't think we can just automatically assume anything about next year, when we're coming of an abysmal season such as this current one. Only thing that's for sure is that...

yea but we have had no stability in our secondary since it was reed landry mcalister and samari in the back end. This group barring something major that pops up will be together for at least through 2017... thats the biggest issue. I thought yesterday we played as well a we played in denver and about as good as a game we have played all season. So I think there is potential for us as a team and potential in player such as zadarius, will davis, buck allen, john urschel, zach orr, and of course...

  9. because some of the plays are run are either bland or too basic... Or don't make no sense... In the two point conversion if we are rolling to the left.... WHY IS THERE ONLY ON DESIGNED RECIEVER TO THE LEFT SIDE. He single handedly lost us the game in Oakland when he went against johns run and called pass when all we had to do was run the ball two more times run the clock out and kick a game winning 24 yard field goal
  10. I agree. I just can't fathom why trawick still has a job. When we let Melvin who had promise go. That... I wish I could say what I want on here... He hasn't done a thing to help us ever since he got here. Starts off by knocking out Jacoby. And every single week he has a f....ng block in the back on punt return. EVERY SINGLE WEEK. He can't tackle in a real game we saw that against the cardinals I'm wondering why he's still here I'm wondering why breshad isn't on IR and camp is. There is a lot of this that I question about this team
  11. I just don't understand why there are no penalties for the refs. I mean I would love to see something like when NCAA suspended the officials after the Miami duke game. That would never happen in the NFL. Not even after in 2013 the refs screwed the blown call against the steelers to get them in the playoffs this league every time I look in every way I look at it is becoming worse and more of a joke
  12. I saw something on twitter just to add. There was a slow motion shot of the dumervil play the guard was still moving into his stance and the tackle lined up as a tight end. I know it doesn't matter but that has to be called when in that situation your job is to look exclusively at the line
  13. just wrap his lower body up. I mean you can't just sit here and ACt like he's not to blame.
  14. what do you mean after a performance like that. We turned the ball over 4 times and allowed only 9 points out of it. Do you know how good that is? We had 397 yards of offense. We played great... We just can't win this year
  15. We gotta wait until august to see those ravens look like ravens again.... That's a long time to wait
  16. This year is really testing my faith
  17. Well that makes this officially worse than the new england championship loss. Glad the bulls don't suck
  18. oh yea and you know what's the correlation in those teams... GDP I gaurentee these teams are money earners of the highest order in the NFL... Pats and cowboys have rich owners which have just happened to 'form a friendship' with the league. Referees in both the NFL and NBA organizations whether you agree or not favorite players to earn certain calls and favor teams that can sway calls and outcomes on games. Just look up the Tim Donaghue case. You know why? Fans like certain players just to throw out a name Antonio brown or Julio Jones or even dez Bryant going back to Sunday night against maxwell. So you know why these players get calls because they produce fans see this it grows the players skill fans start to become fans of that player or team and buy merchandise. MONEY DRIVES THE LEAGUE
  19. What a message the NFL sent in this situation. Its guys like William Gay from the Steelers that will play these Dallas Cowboys next year and look across at Greg Hardy and say "Its guys like that that killed my mother". I've lost any respect for the Cowboys and Jerry and Stephen Jones and their coach who held a press conference and told the media we knew everything that went on in the situation... And apparently did not. So this guy who drags a female by her hair and slams a female on tiles and guns and chokes her is a TRUE leader and someone that we want back on our team is terrible. And the way hardy has distanced himself from the situation and I'm pretty sure everyone on here would agree with me that he genuinely does not feel bad or sorry or quite frankly care about the situation. Then to make these comments on Brady and his wife and tirade on the sideline... Until he finds help and can truly regret and progressively try to better his outlook on the situation and his lifestyle I've had enough with him. He needs to be away from football the media and out of the public eye for a while.
  20. if yall think jimmy is gonna be him again this season its not gonna happen he is still playing hurt
  21. and dont forget to play the linebackers 10 yards off in thirfd down and 2 minute situations and play the safeties off antonio gates so he can turn a 5 yard pass into a 30 yard gain
  22. Well its not like we have the same officials week in and week out... but what really pissed me off was when will slammed gordon and they called a penalty... so basically what the league is saying is play until the whistle last week when forward progress was made against cj2k while the line judge is running out on the field... but then when will slams him and makes sure he's down we get flagged... ??
  23. To me just going through what i have saw so far... evaluating today... someone needs to find a replacement for hurst, we need him gone tommorow put that practice squad call up in because he has feet of cinder blocks... k.o didnt do all too bad... Zuttah once again cannot compete with stronger d-lineman is better suited for going laterally and vertically getting blocks on linebackers and safties... marshal had a pretty good game did have a couple non-marshal plays today... rick i didnt even really pay attention to, to be honest... as far as rb's go after watching last week i kinda realized what this team is lacking was a make-you-miss guy.. buck looked like he can be that guy going down the road for us... justin played fairly well but has fell back extremely from pass pro from last year... sooner or later everyone is going to appreciate kamar, chris and jeremy did pretty well hopefully against j-ville we get pitta back... TE played pretty well today just as they did all season primarily blocking for in pass pro and in the running game... on the defensive side of the ball its good too see we came up tough in the clutch today in the 4th quarter... well except for the 2 minute drive when they pillow walked the ball to the 30 yard line... really played soft most of the game but the difference was when called on... b-will and Chris i thought could have stacked the line up pretty better... CJ once again kinda sucked in coverage... One day you guys will realize that daryl is not as athletic any more to make these tackles... I thought zach when he was in played some solid football... doom has been quietly been getting pressure all year... i thought zadarius played fairly well today as well in setting the edge... kyle made one play today and gave up about 5 of them shareece I believe can be a little more stout in the run game but overall he played fairly well... jimmy to be honest I would rather see fully healthy or just not on the field... he has not made one play this year playing in off coverage because he cannot plant off his back foot... will has put together 2 solid games coverage wise... kendrick i thought kinda stepped up today and made some really nice plays... hopefully during the bye week we can rest up and get healthy and involve some cut blocks on offense that is the key if we even have the slightest shot of getting in this year... i truly believe the playoffs started today because i believe 10-6 gets you in and 9-7 wont this year... good we have a week off so i can focus on the bulls .
  24. I agree today was on the defense and most of the times joe wins these games... im just urked that its been 8 years now and he still doesnt know how to maneuver in the pocket and stop staring down his first read and throwing it no matter what the coverage... normally im ok with it its just people are oversensitive (me included) when these mistakes happen during key situations in the games.
  25. listen flacco is a good qb we both agree... but this has been happening for the past two weeks thats all im saying... all kamar needs to do is make some plays like he has the last few weeks... like he has these last two years he came down during the latter stretch of last season making a name off one route in the slot which is the slant-n-out route and scored multiple times off that route... he beat out and proved he was better than jacoby last year... he beat out marlon when jacoby was struggling and marlon had just came off of 7 tds in his rookie year... once again im trying to show you a play where he beat out cockrell when cockrell had him smothered and beat him out when they both had a shot at it. cockrell just didnt know what he was doing and didnt look for the ball thats his fault... i think that joe has played well with receivers that were castoffs and receivers has played well with joe... but i dont think joe made them better i just believe that things were made simple and gave those receivers better opportunities with the offense like steve smith was... smith was having a role reduced in carolina due to the team wanting to run the football more with the additions of tolbert and wanting to get cam more involved in the run game... he comes here in baltimore is asked to run west coast type of routes where its crossing routes deep routes and checkdowns and he has excelled because he can win a 50-50 ball and run a cross route still and get upfield after checkdown routes... the routes are made simpler and ozzie does a good job of getting players that can fit and excel in the system... I think the only way that joe makes his receivers better is the deep ball... because i think we both believe hes the best deep ball thrower in football. I can see why people think that he makes his receivers better because they both benefit but im saying that the system helps them both.
