  1. I agree completely. Scream isn't too over the top in that category. At least not nearly as much as others.

the only horror genre that I could expect that from is zombies... because it's part of what makes them scary... but as far as a "monster" hunting people, I don't need to see them pull out organs or w/e, Insidious did a very good job imo

  2. Looking forward to it as well.

Have you or anybody else started watching "A American Horror Story" on Fx? It's actually not half bad and nicely produced. Last week was the premiere.

no I didn't know how i felt about it, might as well, it comes on @ night... i'll be working night shift... with next to nothing to do. What days does it come on?

The Scream movies have always been very self aware and sort of humorous. Sorry but people hatin on Scream is sort of like people hating on Joe Flacco for me. I get very defensive haha.

Not a real big scary movie fan, because it's gotten away from alot of scares and just more brutality (gore etc). If i'm paying 8 dollars for a scary movie, I want to be scared/creeped out, not sick.

  3. You mean horror in general? Scream and Halloween are two of the most popular ever.

they are, but I saw the most recent scream movie.. it was more of a comedy then anything.

My dad wants me to see Real Steel with him lol. I don't know if I can do it. What happened to the zombie movies man? Last one I've seen was 28 Weeks Later, if you can call that a zombie movie. Thinking about buying The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead was fantastic, can't wait for season 2 to start in less then 2 weeks

  4. I watched both of those a while back and I agree they are great movies. I love the main actor. He is also in 'Iron Monkey' which is on IW as well.

Since its October, I am on my Horror watching only mode. Anybody have any good hidden gems (doesn't have to be IW)? They do have to be hidden because I watch a ton of flicks.

This year the horror films I have watched have been weak compared to last years session. Last year I watches some screwed up flicks. Don't know if anybody's ever seen it but 'Matryrs' has to be one of the most disturbing movies I've ever watched. It's right up there with 'Serbian Film' and 'Irreversible'. If you like sick stuff, all three of these are a must.

I was gonna mention Serbian Film, I've never seen it, but i have 3 friends who told me they couldn't finish it because of how messed up it was.

  5. I bought Scream 4 yesterday and watched it for the first time since I saw it in theatres and it reminded me just how much I love these movies. Halloween and Scream are by far the best horror franchises in my opinion, particularly their originals. Can't wait for Scream 5.

tells you how bad that franchise is doing then
