  1. Lee Evans is acceptable now?

Yeah but if OD doesn't drop that TD pass, Flacco's pass to Torrey never happens, bc we only need a FG to win.

Going home from a dropped pass is better than going home from a Raven who gave up on the play that ends the season. Did I say it's acceptable? No.

And if you want to talk drops not being acceptable, why don't you bring up Boldin too while you're at it.

  2. Ripping the ball out may be his best talent. Cause he gets beat like a drum on most plays.

Usually requires 2-3 people to hold someone up and then that's when Elam is at his best.

Well there ya go.. we found something he's good at.

    EDIT: Still a bust

  3. I have extremely high hopes for Brooks. He himself put Elam on the bench quite a few times. He is 12x the tackler and enforcer that Elam is.

Someone tell me the last time Elam laid somebody out?

    Randall Cobb? LOL.

But the last time I remember Elam laying a hit was on kickoff when he picked the returner up and slammed him.. maybe he should stay there.

  4. what a waste of 1st rounder.......

Hopefully, we'll find a legit safety in this year draft....

I still got hopes for Brooks at FS and Hill at SS...

Brooks is NFL material.. just need to get the mental aspect up to speed. Hopefully that gets accomplished this offseason.

  5. Well that would be a dream secondary, but not a single one of those will be comfortable in a back up role. That will propably be the problem

But the Oz signed Dumervil he can surely do it with Flowers too!!

I don't think there's such thing as a back up CB anymore unless it's the 4th.. we typically line up with 3 CBs anyways considering the amount of time Graham got per game.

    Jimmy/Flowers/Webb/Asa/Chykie would be crazy good

  6. So... you're saying we shouldn't burn Ozzie and banish him from Baltimore for ever?

Good luck with this veiw on these forums on draft-day :D

Haha yup that's exactly what I'm saying. Power D vs. Great O.. the D always prevail. When you have a great Defense you're secretly  helping your O out. Do people want Offenses to score on us then our Offense have to start on their own 20 ever possession? Even Manning won't win that way.

  7. At the end of the day.. While other teams got their 1 impact offensive player then staked up on second and third tier players on offense.. we continued to stack on top-notch defensive players.

You can't really get mad at that because you got to have people who can stop these offensive minded teams. I'd rather have a decent offense with a powerhouse D.. And don't forget Ozzie already stacked up on O before the draft even began.

  8. This is unlink Ozzie, to be in a position to have to plug so many holes via trade and losing draft picks in the process. This is indicative of some poor drafts over the last several years, and the Zuttah signing is the most glaring case in point. We are replacing a very poor center who was drafted too high for a merely below-average center, and have to lose a pick in the process. Hope some folks are being held accountable in the scouting department for getting the team in this predicament.

Poor drafts? It's easy to emphasize frustrations from draft picks not developing but you got to realize all the draft picks who moved on to other teams for big pay days. Art Jones being the latest.
