  1. man i'm not even mad tbh, he's fast but that is about all we know about him in terms of actual NFL skill, at this point he is pretty much on the long list of disappointing picks at WR.
  2. out of the signings we had this FA period this is the one that had me the most excited. Living in California we get a lot of Charger games on tv and i have been a Weddle fan for a while, he always reminded a bit of Reed on the back end, he's not as great as Reed if you ask me but he is certainly very capable of filling that role for us and helping the young guys on the back end learn the game.
  3. i was kind of looking forward to the beard running around for us on Sundays but i'm a firm believer of starting new when you move on. he can regrow it since it will be a Bmore beard, not one he brought with him from SD.
  4. well not angry with this signing, he's been a solid player for a while and could really help out the younger TE's
  5. CJ hasn't even proven that he is worth a 1st Round pick yet either. lol really? rookie pro bowl, second in DRoY (which he should of won), 1st on the team on tackles his rookie year and 2nd on the team this year if i remember right, he was tied for the team lead in INT's his rookie year. i can totally see where you think he didn't deserve that first round pick *ends sarcasm*
  6. i can see you saying Aiken needs to come on strong, but whatever you are drinking i want some for you to even put Perrimans name out there.
  7. i'm pretty sure last year was an achilles or ACL tear.
  8. well silver lining out of this crap season so far is that we are probably looking at close to a top 10 pick in the draft so we should be able to draft a WR/CB/OLB that can really make a big difference for us next year.
  9. well i think Z.Smith has a chance to be something special for us. too early to tell which side of the coin he'll end up but he did a good job exploding onto the scene for us against the squeelers. if he can just turn into a 10-13 sack guy i'd be happy with that. i think he's more in the mold of Upshaw with the way the jacks up blockers but i'm thinking he has more natural pass rush ability because of his natural athleticism.
  10. also used for Yard after Contact but whatever
  11. this guy needs to be a big part of our offense from now on. a lot of people here were knocking him after they drafted Maxx, but i think i was one of the few people on this board that wasn't sleeping on Crockett. the dude is huge and a lot more athletic than he lets on. he's totally a lot faster than he looks but he doesn't rely on speed he'd much rather dish out punishment which is nice and what we need.
  12. if only Darryl Smith got that dropped pick, things could of been different.
  13. this guy was an absolute monster in college, late first/early second round talent that we picked up in the back third of the draft if i remember right. if he can regain his confidence from worrying about being injured he can be the next great DE for the Ravens.
  14. man we were horrible but good thing it's only pre season
  15. play of the game to me
  16. well i can see Davis being a good run stuffer just like Ngata. the kid is huge he's a planet out there. if he can give us 2-4 sacks a year that would help replace the production was giving us in recent years.
  17. man every Ravens rookie should take lessons from Urschel on how to save their money!!!
  18. but for the most part the players you have listed are pretty good players that have played vital roles. Except for KLM, Urban and Asa the others are key players(Canty/Jimmy/Webb), HOF players (Ray/Reed/Ngata) or a rookie that played bit time for us when a big time player was out. Elam has played a lot and really hasn't proven that he deserves to be out there and his loss isn't as big as the guys at nfl.com made it out to be. it's still sucks because i'm one of the guys that was just hoping this was the year he lived up to the 1st round hype.
  19. this is all good new, but i wish they would show some of hits they are talking
  20. well it's good to hear that the rookies are doing good, but i'm even more stoked that just maybe Arthur Brown is finally starting to hit his stride and might find a place in the defense.
  21. well good thing about this is that more than likely in a situation like that we will be going to SSS, who by resume should be able to handle the pressure and make the catch. but only time will tell if this will continue to be a problem with Perriman.
  22. neither of these 2 moves surprise me. Pitta for his long term health and Brooks because he was injured in late december if i remember right. when the season starts it will be only about 9 months after injury for Brooks. i know there have been a lot of guys coming back quickly but i'm thinking the signing of Kendrick Lewis helps with this a bit.
  23. did i even mention his size? no i didn't so i think you need not read any further into what i said. he could be 6'6 and play the slot
  24. if he is able to stay healthy i think he has a shot to make the roster, if we put him on the PS he will be scooped up by another team because when he was playing he was a pretty solid guy for us and slot receivers are becoming a big deal in the league atm.
  25. well since when has nfl.com ever had any right about us? they will consider our wr corps weak even if they are lighting it up.
