Personally I like this system as it is... Sure it has some flaws, but honestly the flaws are there, because the participants in the game, wants to pay less then market value for specific lpayers... If you want to avoid getting sniped in the end, you have to put in a bid that noone will beat... Kind of like in the real World.... If you are hunting for bargains and lowballing players you run the risk of someone else scooping in to pick them up... If you don't want to run this risk, do what Arnie did and bid high enough...

QB's Shaun Hill, Ryan Lindley, Tyrod Taylor and Jimmy Clausen (all cost 0,5 stars) are available for cheap Lt me know if you're interested.... (They come VERY cheap)

Also, the back-up-monster that is Sean Reanfree (0,5 stars) is available for a 7th rounder!

QB, Kain Colter, cut from the Vikings QB, Howard Jones, cut from the Steelers (I realize these are minor details, but since I'm noting everything in my own spread sheet, I might as well pitch in. If the CoCo would prefer me to not do that for future positions, please let me know, no hard feelings..)

Yup... Got it... Just wanted to make sure, 'cause in that case there is no point in stocking up on players now, as they will actually count negatively against the cap (because of the mandatory "draft-pick-reserve"). Hitting 51 players by the end of the draft will be the most cap-effective then...

So by the end of the draft, I'll end up with 3,5 stars of cap-Space (I currently have 7 picks) assuming that I have 51 players on my roster pre-draft? Not complaining, just want to make sure I got it right

I have a question regarding the cap, and the part that is reservated for draft picks... If I have more than 51 players on my roster before the draft Begins, am I then allowed to subtract 0,5 stars pr. pick I have available?

Yup... I'll probably do something like that, for a couple of players, but it's just not the same, and I kind of left my team quite thin on LB's expecting to stock up in FA a Little.... Oh well... I'll find a way I'm not really going to complain about being in Brazil for carneval, because I'm missing something in a forum game

I agree, and in that case this rule affects Hardy too. By my calculations there are 7 UFA's that is affected by this, and Thus have higher tag-vales than the standard. Of the 7, only Suh has been tagged t this point... I'll post the list of players with increased franchise tag value here, if the CoCo agrees, but would like to hear from them first.
