  1. i used to be a huge deniro and pacino fan, while i still enjoy thier erlier roles, and the ones from the 90s, their last few films havnet done it for me, i did enjoy stone recently from deniro, but a more seasoned actor like them who i enjoy more now is anthony hopkins, fracture and hearts in atlantis r a few of my favs
  2. Oscar Nominations 2011-Link
  3. di caprio is unreal, cheadle is very underrated forrest whitaker isnt underrated at all, hes been in alot of lead roles, to high acclaim
  4. johnny depp is far more versatile then denzel, could u c denzel in alice in wonderland, or pirates, or fear and loathing haha, but he can also do dramas, donnie brasco and public enemies to name a few, that being said they r 2 totally different actors, depp being more of a character actor, he seems to like doing different roles, where as denzel plays it safe and sticks to the norm. training day is about as crazy as he gets, and even that wasnt that crazy. on a somewhat related topic i heard jadakiss say in a rap that denzel "had to be crooked before he took it" referring to his oscar for training day, he did of course win an oscar years before ofr a supporting role, but still and interesting take none the less, making it about race is another thing altogether.
  5. War or the Worlds was just ok. I could have done without the whole part with Tim Robbins, just seemed unnecessary. Also, the ending was lame. Spielberg ruins his movies by insisting on happy endings. Nothing he does will ever be as good as Schindler's List. That's the only movie I'm not ashamed to tell people that I've cried watching. war of the world is an over 100 year old book, which i havent read haha, and it was also made into a movie before, but one could assume the book ended the same way as the movie. speilberg isnt the only one with happy endings though, thats hollywood for ya, i dont care how a movie ends personally, as long as it fits the story, i do often think movies would end better if the "hero" died, or in some cases lived. take i am legend for example, i prefer alternate ending blu ray version, apposed to theatrical.
  6. worth a watch if u have seen the first one

  17. i watched a few movies that just came to dvd the other night, i belive ony 1 was in theatre, but i could b wrong Takers-Idris Elba, Paul Walker T.1, Chris Brown extremely average at best, crime/heist movie with little excitment and originality Stone-Robert Deniro, Ed Norton, Mila Jovovich Like aways ed norton is incredible, deniro was good, as well as jovovich, great acting in this movie, great movie about the human condidtion Buried-Ryan Reynolds well u guessed it from the title, hes buried...alive...in a wooden box...THE ENTIRE MOVIE!, when i started to watch it i thought to myself, the whole show wont be him in the coffin, there will b flashbacks, and scenes of ppl trying to save him and so on....WRONG, the entire movie is him in a coffin, not as bad as u would think though haha, more excitment then takers, which says alot about that movie too haha Red-Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman,John Malkovich,Helen Mirren,Brian Cox, Richard Dreyfus,Mary Loiuse Parker Pretty star studded cast, waste of talent really, it was a fun movie though. had to take it with a grain of salt, they weren't tryin to win any oscars with this one haha
