  1. So according to unnamed online article "The Baltimore Ravens are the most despicable sports franchise in America". Looks like we're back to being the 'thugs' of the NFL. Nothing we can do about that I suppose...

We were actually better when we were known as thugs. So this doesn't really hurt my feelings at all. Keep calling us thugs.

  2. I have the Ravens at 12-13 wins... Bored and schedule checking.

I think we win 10 games this year. Going from 8-8, to 12-4/13-3, with a whole new offensive system is asking too much, IMO

Definitely. Unless he gets lucky again, which I don't see happening.

Stephen, don't worry about it. Next year, when we again miss the playoffs for a second straight year, people like Jazz will be on our side of things. We just jumped off the Harbs bandwagon a bit earlier than the rest of the blind followers did.

The problem with a coach like Harbs is that people blindly follow the guy because he continuously spews out bs that makes people feel good. It's only the enlightened people who really delve deep into the team that know he is full of bs and is hurting this team. I'd venture to say that if we didn't get lucky with our little playoff streak last year that there would be a ton of people calling for his head. Just give it another year.

Better be careful Stephen... Harbs may think you're part of a collusion, and have the "powers that be" get rid of you in order to quiet you. Not that that's ever happened before, since Harbs is such a great guy. I mean, just talk to Pollard/Boldin/etc., and you'll think Harbs is a savior.. LOL

Don't remind me of the lost season that 2006 was. That season was our year, we just made way too many boneheaded mistakes against the Colts. That season represents our traditional defensive excellence mixing with a new, higher level of offensive performance from our team.

Clearly no QB has ever taken that advice, other than Flacco (in most games)

  15. I don't want the Texans WR coach. Jacoby looked like a bum with him, but Jacoby was a play maker with Hostler... no thanks

Exactly. I think a key point is to look at not only stats/good play, but also at the finer details, such as precise routes/ball awareness/other tactical things that only comes by way of good coaching. Some players get by on natural athleticism alone, while others work extremely hard to get to where they are at.

I think the question is this... is Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins more of a product of coaching, products of natural athleticism (which I sincerely doubt especially in Johnson's case), or products of their own work ethic?

It wasn't just Jacoby... they failed to develop any kind of receiver outside of Andre Johnson for years and years.

Agreed ravensdfan... it's like volunteering to go pound your head against a brick wall until you get a major concussion, and then you go and sue the people who own that brick building. It's insane.

I see it this way.. why do you CHOOSE to play the game if you know what risks are involved with it?? It's not like Goodell is drafting people to play, military style.
