  1. The only reason this thing is dragging out for so long is because Harbs and the higher ups, including Ozzie/Bisciotti, are having arguments over who the next OC should be. Harbs is going for his inept buddy, as always, while the higher ups are calling for Shanny. In other news, Shanahan is a perfect fit for our offense, especially since Castillo is our OL coach and wants an emphasis on zone running schemes. Come on man, make the hire already.
  2. If Hostler is hired, then you can compare the hiring to us coming back against a team in the playoffs when we are down by 20 points, only for Flacco to throw an INT on the potential game winning drive, and having the other team bring that INT back for a TD. That's how pathetic the hiring would be.
  3. If the inept Jim Hostler gains the OC job, you may as well consider 2014 a lost year offensively. I'd say they will be dead last.
  4. The next OC better not be that joke of a coach Jim Hostler... please God, let it be either Bisciotti or Ozzie who picks the next coach, and not Harbs. We have all seen the poor caliber of coaches that Harbaugh likes to pick.
  5. If he does that, and the team fails again this year, I will seriously be pushing for Harbaugh to be fired. And if anyone thinks that is insane, then I will tell you this... there are plenty who are already seriously trying to push for that to happen. Imagine if the team fails once again.
  6. Now there's an idea! We could hire Boller in as our QB Coach. People keep saying it would be great for Flacco to have a QB coach. That's a perfect fit.
  7. Let's hire Brian Billick to be our OC!!!!
  8. Lol good one. Let's hire Madden 14 Ravens Playbook as our next OC
  9. The level of quietness coming from this search tells me there is something brewing in Charm City. We very well may be in for a huge surprise when they hire the OC. The OC may be someone that we haven't even thought about yet, someone who may possibly be even better than the guys we're supposedly considering hiring.
  10. And Mason also thought he had a good chance of winning the Super Bowl with the Jets too... your point??
  11. A blind squirrel still finds a nut or two. What about the rest of the receivers he was supposed to be developing, other than Torrey??
  12. I wouldn't be opposed to interviewing him, only to tell him at the end of the interview that he has been fired. The guy is a waste. He's not even that great at developing WR talent. I just don't see how anyone can consider him a legit possibility as OC. If he becomes the next OC, you can go ahead and skip watching the team next year. If you thought this past year was horrible, wait till next season.
  13. How about considering the fact that the last time he was an OC, he flat out failed?? How about the fact that last time he was an OC, his players pretty much hated him because he sucked at his job? That's consideration for ya.
  14. Another great OC would be Castillo. He's a sheer genius on the offensive side of the ball, and could bring the type of plays that would make our offense grow as a whole. He could get the most out of Flacco too. Do it Ozzie!!!
  15. I think Jim Hostler would be the best OC we have ever had. He is a genius when it comes to the offense, and he has always been an integral part to our team. I would support this move.
  16. So Harbs is keeping his inept buddies on his coaching staff. Yawn, nothing new here. If the Ravens miss the playoffs again next year and dont improve at all, then I will personally lead the Harbaugh must be fired group.

We did a hell of a lot more than run-run-deep throw. We used the middle and ran quick outs and slants WAY more than you give us credit for.

I disagree, we either ran or tried throwing a lot of quick passes behind the line of scrimmage, that always got blown up, or we threw deep hoping for a P.I.FLAG!

@jazz1988 been telling people that! castillo coordinating a running scheme is a awful idea, but he is widely regarded as one of the best teachers of the o-line in the entire league

  17. I live in Glenville, PA, close to Glen Rock/Mason Dixon line. All Ravens fans in these parts, with the exception of a few Eagles fans here and there.
  18. Sometimes arm strength is not just having muscle in your throws... sometimes, its about mechanics that hold your throws back.
  19. Derek Carr?
  20. LOL all things they said about Tom Brady.
  21. AJ actually did a good job tonight. He kept Bama in the game when both their ST and D was starting to miss a gear. He was partly responsible for the 99 yard TD that put them up 28-21. He can't help that his team missed 4 FG's, and he definitely did not cause them to kick to the returner/give him a 109 TD return on the last play.
  22. Just because he's the greatest coach of all time does not mean he does not have flaws. No one is perfect. I think it is refreshing to be reminded that perfection doesn't exist. It is perfectly okay for people to give constructive criticism to his decisions.
  23. Do you think Bama still has a shot at the BCS National Title game??
  24. LOL at Bama losing tonight. Serves em right. Although, they do still have a chance to go to the BCS National Title game, if Auburn loses to Mizzou, and OSU loses to Michigan State. I don't see Alabama being ranked any lower than 4th, right behind FSU/OSU/Auburn.
  25. Yet another uneducated Steeler's fan remark I hear from time to time: "We have 6 super bowls!!"... um, well in case you have never learned history before, the Steelers are about 30-40 years older than us. I sure hope you have more rings.
