  1. Haven't logged in in a long time, but just wanted to say that I've been reading these boards a really long time and it's sad to see them go. A salute to all of you. See ya on reddit.
  2. I'm not the biggest fan of Rex's personality, but I think it would be interesting to see what we could do with more exotic blitz packages, which was what Rex was known for. If we don't have the players on hand, then we'd better get creative if we're going to get any kind of pressure. My "Ravens Football" comment was made half jokingly but I do miss when we played a more aggressive style of football on the defensive side of the ball. Pees has always just felt kind of vanilla to me, but I guess it's easy to say that now when we'd been jaded with playmakers like Ed Reed for a decade. I agree that Pees is not an idiot and we'll see what happens. It'll be interesting to see what this defense can do with more depth in the secondary and an improved pass rush but what happened in Pittsburgh is absolutely inexcusable and if that trend continues into next season, Pees needs to be let go for sure. Leslie Frazier I know has been discussed and I agree would be a contender for the job but another candidate that I think is an interesting one would be Wink Martindale, if they want to promote from within. His players love him and he's been a coordinator in this league before.
  3. I'd definitely love a Kubiak return but Norv Turner would be my pick if that doesn't happen. No longer a HC candidate and had Minnesota's offense humming before he stepped down.
  4. I think Rex is done as a HC personally. I'm not gonna disagree about his ego at all, but I think Buffalo was his last chance in the eyes of the league.
  5. This. Let's play Ravens football again.
  6. I'd love it. He can bring Ed Reed home while he's at it too.
  7. The thing that scares me about Perriman is that he has a little bit of the Travis Taylor syndrome. He'll make a spectacular catch look easy but can also drop one that hits him in the numbers. He's got all the skills to be an elite wideout, let's see what he does with a full offseason of preparation.
  8. The 10 year old kid in me who misses that era would absolutely love this, but I don't think Bisciotti would ever make that call. If we do move on from Harbs, it needs to be a fresh face.
  9. Great pic of the young Reed
