Ummmm.... Marshall and Jeffery plus Forte they put up great numbers but the result is not what we wanted.... I am less worried about numbers and more concerned about their contributions to us winning games. If they are doing that the numbers will take care of themselves... if this is all about producing numbers... we will miss the playoffs like the bears did ! We have a ton of weapons and only one ball.... maybe they don't all have 100 yard rec games but they had a key first down on the game winning drive or they had a key block to spring forsett for the game winning TD... that is the mentality we need here!
I hear you! But we gotta remember offense isnt everything. If flacco has those kind of players, puttng up hose kinds of numbers then our defense(unlike the bears) will seal the deal. Plus I think Joe cool > cutler. We're great at home & a quality road oponent... the bears cant say that.
Two things I disagree with. First, neither of Flacco's interceptions were terribly bad passes - they were mostly due to exceptional reads by the I also don't think that we would have gotten past the Colts the way the Patriots did. Much worse matchup for us, and the proof for that was evident in the 5th week of the season, which was before Jimmy Smith even got hurt and our CB woes began.
I disagree. Baltimore arguably played against more top offenses last year then Pats. Even still with our DB's dismantled and the Pats having Revis our passing defense stats are close. Double check me but I believe Pats allowed 140yrds less last season passing. Thats less then 10yrds a game better despite not missing their starters various times of the year. Over all combined we allowed 115 less yrds on us then the Pats. The Pats DB's out played us in basically name alone. Our team could of stepped to the plate.
we could have hit FS with pryor or clinton in the first. could have wrapped up tackle with moses in the 2nd, but we stuck true to the team. We go BPA, except it people. we cant preach it all year then be mad when we do it. We are a defensive tea,. wanting the best defensive players. If you need more rational thinking to help with the pick, understand the fact nagta is loosing some steps and price is stil at a premium level, we lose Art jones, and need depth for rotation cause these guys get tired out in the trenches. we have a quality DT to work into the rotation. It helps them all! We win in the trenches, we win the game. Enough said.
7.5 mil year sounds pretty good for an above average LT. I figured we'd get this wrapped up, good job Oz&company. Now get D. Smith back here, find us veteran center, saftey, and possibly a RB to battle it out with at camp. I'll call it a decent free agency.

Id want to keep KO but i dont think he is really worth TOP dollar. Has an injury history and hasnt actually made a probowl. Depending on how yanda plays out, i see no reason we cant sign them both. Tucker though will be looking for big kicker money, which isnt THAT much compared to other positions. IF yanda doesnt play out, we should def be able to retain KO & Tucker.
Funny how flacco gets looked as lesser then other QB's who will retire with far less accolades then him.
