I love Lamp. I can't see the ravens picking him though.. I'd only like the cam robinson pick if it happened in the 2nd round.

for me of all the players i mentioned jabrill peppers is my matt elam/perriman ''please no'' pick. Think The ravens know this and will pick him just to piss me off? It's so odd that i singled out elam and perriman before the drafts as my please for the love of talent NO and yet they got picked :/

Like i said, I'm okay with the trade as i THINK what the ravens could get out of jernigian is what we have seen. now as long as we don't draft Taco Charlton Jabrill Peppers Charles Harris Cam Robinson We should be ok

Like i said, it's a balance. Based on what he's done, i'd have done the trade too IF i was going to use that 25 spot increase for a trade up in the 2nd round or for maneuvering around in general. Also, i'd have done it if i felt that this was as good as i was getting with jernigian. No way i'd have given him a contract based on what hes done so far next year so it's better than nothing. Overall though he did play decently in stretches. Like i said, this is like brandon williams..he doesnt make our team monumentally better or worse if he goes. We should be able to get production that can match what he did from our younger players if they are even half decent. I'd have used the money we spent on williams on wagner and zeitler as a FA.

The timmy trade- I'll judge it based on what we do in the draft and/or how willie henry/kaufusi/ pierce do. If timmy balls out for the eagles and those 3 guys do jackall and our draft pick at 74 turns out to be a bum.. then yeah. for now, i can live without jernigan..unless it was our scheme ( possible as i never saw him as a great fit for our d when we drafted him) we aint losing some transcendental player. Frankly, i'd have felt the same way about brandon williams who's not going to be anything more than what we have seen. He's not kelly gregg who used to be a lot more nimble as well as excellent in the run game. Gregg used to generate a lot of interior QB pressures. Williams does not..

as much as ozzie and co preach BPA, i cant see them taking forrest lamp or white, who IMO, are all pro's in the making and safer bets in their position than any likely pass rushers or wideouts that would be available at 16

Yeah, I was thinking perhaps the later rounds? They seem to have always produced better NFL talents. btw I think White is the best corner in this draft..and thats saying a lot because I know lattimore is legit but i really think white is the best all round corner.

So does anyone here think we'll break the LSU duck? Will we draft any LSU player this year? any round? we must be the only team to have never drafted an LSU player.

seems like if you play for michigan or alabama you're given an automatic round upgrade. Taco Chartlon is a late 2nd round pick just based on what he has to offer.

I don't know whats worse. Flat earth, or believing that voting or democracy actually changes anything and that government along with its trivial federal reserve concept along with taxes is actually moral and anything more than a pseudo-capitalistic concept. most of the humanity is stupid. Heck, people still don't know what the word anarchy means. People think anarchy means chaos when statism is actually that flawed/incorrect definition of anarchy. People are zombies and while I don't believe in flat earth I sure as hell don't believe in nationalism or patriotism as anything more than mind control zombification. So before you question other people look at what you believe in and start questioning that and why nothing changes? its simple really, your being managed, managed into cycles and you think you're thinking for yourself when really, you aint.. for me, people who vote and believe in government are the dumbest people in the world.

I've seen absolutely no source or interest of any kind as it pertains to carl lawson and the ravens. Nothing.. which is odd as I think he's an excellent prospect.

( Upon further realistic reflection) Round 5 pick 159 Derek Rivers OLB/DE - changed to Joe Mathis DE. ( Upon further realistic reflection) Round 6 pick 186 Jalen Myrick CB ( this is optimistic but hey..who knows..)

I actually can flat out tell you that i didnt want ramsey and preffered stanley over him. I said ramsey was overrated and I can say right now i've been proven wrong. I said this after i watched more tape. of course everyone here takes selective stuff and twists the facts. I can at least be honest about things.

ridiculous to compare upshaw to barnett. Barnett has the best and most violent hands of all the pass rushers including myles garrett. Also the best timing off the snap in the draft

Yeah, he'd be my ideal pick. He's so polished.. flawless technique.violent hands and times the snap to absolute perfection and plays the run well.

as the draft gets closer im prepared to be disappointed by oz and co. They generally havent drafted who i have liked over the past 8 years or so. I don't forsee that changing if we again fail to make the playoffs its time to say goodbye to ozzie and decosta as well as harbaugh

Cam Robinson is basically michael oher and not quite as good ( for a tackle) if you feel that warrants a first round pick... sorry no..

if you go back you'll see i actually loved the stanley pick same with CJ mosely. and i said before both drafts that i didnt want elam or perriman.
