Mathis is one of those guys where he actually is getting better with age. If he had played the entire season last year he would have had a higher PFF rating than yanda Yanda can play center EASY and actually be an ALL pro level one. Hes tied with Evan Mathis. Im not bias.. Yanda and Mathis have been by far the best in recent years. Like i said if the eagles cut mathis id take him for a 1 year deal and put Yanda at center. It would make our running game unstoppable

I'm going to say this and make it clear. Marshal Yanda is the best guard in football with evan mathis. Mathis is 3 years older and has played the best 3 seasons of his career in his early 30's

He makes that tackle on amendola..and we would have only needed a field goal possibly to win the game. All he had to do was wrap him up. Amendola wasn't going forward. Instead ..he matt elams it ( we will use this term in the future) and flys on to his shoulder while amendola is turning and boom. Here is the problem You either have Great Vision and football IQ or you don't. Pirate88 we don't have cap. when you don't have cap you have to be pretty careful. We have 1 position that we cant realistically upgrade with the cap we have, patience..there are no game changers here. We aren't the bills who have had to suck for years to have that cap

Sometimes in life..teams need to struggle..we don't have cap and thanks to our less than dedicated players ( you know the ones who say they love the ravens etc) refusing to help us not only retain our core but also free up cap this is how the cookie crumbles.

i think crabtree is a receiver thats declining by the minute.. i really don't think we are going to be happy with this off season FA wise. its going to be a bunch of scrubs that will probably play like scrubs.. however the draft is key..if we get 3 good players that can contribute or start immediately it will change the feel are we going to be as good as last year? no..no chance..but we could still make the playoffs.
