lol nah,im into it for show, never taken it to the track before, and the only upgrade my car has on it is the Intakes, boosting the HP from 332 to 350 hp. nothing else done to it... Mine is just a Base Model, nothing special, nothing fancy. No Turbo's, No special equipment. No Touring. Nothing but a base. No Blue Tooth, no Navagation, no heated seats, no XM radio. no upgraded BOSE sound system. Just a Base with basic BOSE speakers. My Z is a 7 speed automatic. when in regular automatic mode, the gears only go 1 through 6,but when you shift the gear over to manuel, the car's system adds another gear to it making it a 7 speed, you can use either the paddle (or slap shifters) located behind the steering wheel or you can use the gear box shifter and shift just like a regular manuel, only difference is that there is no clutch, so when the RPM's get high, just hit the paddle shifters or shift up on the knob ...thats it. Weighing in at just over 3,000 pounds its lighter than its prodcessor..the 350z. it puts out around 270 pounds of torque (before anything modified) and is a handling machine through the turns. The Rear wheel drive make it not suitable for snow, mainly a spring and summer car, im a Nissan guy for life now.... after sitting in the cockpit of the Z for the very first time (before buying mine) it was love at first sight.... i had to have it.. besides, there's a reason why my insurance is $877 a YEAR for my 2011 Nissan 370z. i dont drive like a bat outta helL lol i drive nice and slow, with the assurance knowing the power is there if i need it. i simply cant afford everything i want for it. lol. oh and i bought blind spot mirrors (the blind spots in the Z are horrible. you realyl have to turn your headto check before switching lanes. so the mirrors were a must.
