  1. Offense: Wallace Honorable mention: Steve Smith with a one handed grab Defense: Weddle
  2. really getting excited about this season. the moves we're making show the team wants this team back in the race and hoisting Lombardi's. Weddle. Watson. now Wallace? we're looking to make up for lost time in a big way. Wallace in the right system is a blow the top off burner deep threat and a real machine that plagued us during his time in Steel city. Wallace alongside the likes of another burner in Perriman? and possession WR Steve Smith ? with Watson and Camp/boyle working the middle? we have a force to be reckoned with. we want big play ability, we want chunks of yards in which we lacked last season. I think this years offense will be a force all around. in moving those chains. big time.
  3. interesting and exciting signing here, in Oz we trust
  4. back when we were division rivals in the AFC Central. but since the league got rid of the AFC Central and The Titans are no longer in our division, that rivalry has died down quite a bit. if not all. Now if we play the titans more than we do, then it get attention but we sparingly play each other.
  5. classic Ozzie move. Classic Raven Move. making little moves in the offseason that turn up big for us down the stretch. Ozzie has done this time and time again. nice move Oz.
  6. agreed, goes for all sports in general as well.... " keep your eye on the ball" .... you break your concentration and your eyes away, you lose where the ball is and boom, botched catch. in order to catch the ball completely and THEN get the YAC, one must first follow through with the catch process. Perriman will be fine once he follows through on his catches. concentration drops.
  7. The Top TE in the draft...... with Pitta still in question and Daniels in Denver, TE was a need. rumor had it that the Steelers had their minds set on taking him and the Ravens leap frogged to one spot ahead and picked him. ......leaving the Steelers stumbling to what to do next.... using almost ALL time on the clock on their choice, they had to scramble.... have to admit I chuckled
  8. sitting here thinking... anywhere from midfield and closer to the endzone, im getting excited to see both him and Aiken/Brown really working as redzone threats and envision them to be a tandem force. with Steve Smith as a over middle, this is exciting.
  9. really liking this pick, big weapon for Flacco that can exploit his best attribute and can be a speedy option for us in the play action and the screen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_OhPwh6dUg
  10. I said if his medical history cleared.
  11. I have a name that could prove to be a viable option at WR for us.... IF... IF his medical history is finally cleared................. Austin Colley. perhaps? http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/other-side-of-concussion-issue--austin-collie-can-t-find-nfl-work-205102198.html
  12. yes we had a good group of guys who could catch. block. whatever the need be in order to keep the play/drive alive, they were willing to do it, none of which are or were number 1 receivers at the time. BUT what made it work between the group of them was their ability to make something out of nothing. keeping the play alive. players that don't just catch the football, but does whatever the team needs them to, in order to come out on top. that's the type of players we need. a Good player/players that do and sacrifice what they have to for the team with the ultimate goal of championship in mind. we don't NEED a number One receiver. we need a WR that's willing to sacrifice it all to keep the offense on the field. the play and drive alive.
  13. I think we don't necessarily NEED a number 1 receiver, I mean Torrey wasn't a number one for us when we won Super Bowl 47. I think what we really need is a group of good guys that gel well together and mesh with the offense and our quarterback much like what happened in 2012. we never had a true number one that year either, BUT we got the ball to the open guy and they made the plays that kept drives alive to put points on the board. ( remember Ray Rice's 4th and 29? Boldin's Massive block to let Rice pick up those extra 2-3 yards for the first down and ultimately win the game? and the turning point in the season for us? ) and that's just one prime example. we need a good core of players that gel...really gel , working together like that rather than a true number 1 receiver. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgRIsjzJCk0
  14. I could see Ozzie going for Chandler, from 2012 to last season he's proven to be a valuable TE option , on paper reminds me a lot of Todd Heap. if ozzie doesn't make a move on WR Bowe, I could definitely see him going for Chandler. BUT im not Oz. so we'll see. 2012........ 571 yards.......6 TDs 2013........655 yards.........2 TDs 2014........497yards........3 TD's
  15. with the recent signing of Maclin in KC..... WR Dwayne Bowe, likely to be released..... and with a glaring need for a Pass catcher, a Bowe-Ravens would work, for the right price..... could you imagine that Smitty and Bowe? that be pretty awesome. if we don't sign someone in FA , a likely outlet would be the draft. a high draft pick, likely 1 or 2
