Should I go with Killer Elite or Seal Team 6 tonight?.... or, neither?
You're pretty weak
Indeed. My glory days are behind me.
Ronin was pretty weak... Older movie, but I had heard good things about it
Lincoln Lawyer was pretty good
how are "Three Kings" (1999 - Clooney, Wahlberg, Ice Cube) & Suicide Kings (98 - Walken)?
"MacGruber" anyone?
"What Just Happened" (2008) with De Niro, Sean Penn, and Bruce Willis was pretty bad... Bruce Willis was awesome for about the 10 min he was in it, but the story line was pretty mehh
I didn't even realize Mann produced it.. The last movie of his I saw was Public Enemies, which was a solid story, but sloooowww
There's a recurring theme in the movie of "you can't stop what's coming" which is what I took from the ending (in more ways than one). I was kind of puzzled by the ending too when I first watched it.......
I agree. I actually really liked the ending... but that's coming from a guy who really liked the ending of the Sopranos, so take that comment for what it's worth lol
anyone seen Sleepers?.. I picked it up at the pawn shop last week and was impressed. I also got "Hostage" with Bruce Willis and "Ransom" with Mel Gibson. I hadn't heard of them, but you can't beat the 2 disc sets for $2 lol.. Hostage was what I expected... haven't watched Ransom yet.
I also bought "Heat" with De Niro, Pacino, and Kilmer. It looks/sounds good, but cant bring myself to watch all 170 minutes of it.
Spring Break checklist:
-In Bruges - I really liked it, guy I was with hated it for making a hitman movie a comedy
-State of Play - solid, kind of slow
-Takers - action packed, pretty bad acting, but entertaining
-RED - mehh...
-The Expendables - don't take your girlfriend
-Kill Bill 1 & 2 - love Tarantino... enjoyed both
-District 9 - little too far-fetched for me
-Brooklyn's Finest - pretty let down, but worth watching
-Rescue Dawn - war movie/survival, thoroughly enjoyed it
-Faster - better than I expected.. pretty good story, the Rock wasn't bad in it
next on the list:
-Pulp Fiction
-Heat
-Godfather II and III
-No County for Old Men
Hagerstown, MD.. where interstates 70 and 81 meet

I'd like to see it, but I'm going with Netflix... I'm cheap.
The ol' lady really splurged this year spending those 8 bucks a month for a year, so I better get good use out of it or I'll be finding myself a second job.
