Wow. Cut Canty, McClain, Leach, and Koch then we should be able sign Pitta, Monroe, Jacoby, Art, Daryl, and Graham.
I'd trade Ngata before I would trade or cut Suggs. We could get more for him and would free up more cap space.
I think this hiring squashes the dreams of the people who wanted Ed Reed to become the secondary coach.
This will be an amazing staff if we get it done:
Offensive Coordinator - Gary Kubiak
Quarterbacks - Rick Dennison
Running Backs - Bobby Turner
Tight Ends - Brian Pariani
Wide Receivers - Larry Kirksey
Jim Hostler must feel like Robb Stark during The Red Wedding right now.
1. Chud
2. Kubiak
3. Shanahan
If we hire Kubiak or Norv we would be getting a back-to-back Super Bowl winning offensive coordinator.
If we hire Chud we would be getting a coordinator who made Derek Anderson a Pro Bowl player. He did the same thing with Cam Newton in his first year. Cam also broke the record for most passing yards in a season by a rookie which is pretty impressive considering he only had Steve Smith to throw to.
Going to be really hard for Harbaugh to screw this up.
You prefer Jordan Matthews and Davante Adams over Marqise Lee?
Yup, I think Adams and Matthews bring more physicality than Lee, who is just a little too finesse for my liking.
For those of you raving about Q's blocking, that's another area where Adams excels. I think he's the best blocking WR in this year's class.
How about a hard hat, hard hitter that is in the mold of Anquan Boldin? Not just a clutch receiver but one that will block down field to free up some more yards for Joe, Ray, etc.... A blue collar lunch pail type. An I just want to play football type. Just a thought.
Davante Adams is who you're looking for, I mentioned him earlier in the thread with highlight videos. Check him out.
Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandin Cooks are a couple other receivers who would bring something different to the group and should be there in the second round. My rankings:
1. Jordan Matthews
2. Davante Adams
3. Marqise Lee
4. Odell Beckham Jr.
5. Brandin Cooks
Good question. We've got our burner, Torrey Smith, to stretch the field. Marlon Brown is pretty much another T.J. Houshmandzadeh IMO, a possession receiver and redzone weapon. Jacoby, I don't see coming back. Missing from our group is a quick receiver ala Andrew Hawkins/Wes Welker and one who is physical ala Anquan Boldin/Brandon Marshall.
I don't know about Kubiak but what Chud. He got a very bad deal in Cleveland.
That guy made Hoyer look better than he actually is. Unfortunate that Hoyer's injury against the Bills was what ultimately got him fired. Just maybe he can come here and get the most out of our young receiving core.
Yup and don't forget about Derek Anderson. He actually got him voted into the Pro Bowl in 2007.
1. Norv
2. Chud
And Mike Munchak as the OL coach.

I have a feeling they'll reach a deal on Sunday.
