Thank you for clearing that up

I hate to name drop, but a good example of this is Jamie Collins. His contract is shown in spotrac as official for 2017. Is he a free agent in our league? Or is he apart of the Cleveland browns franchise?
How does this rule apply to other franchises with their FAs? Is it a rule where if an impending free agent player is resigned in real life prior to the team being selected, the player is on your team in this game?
I was going to ask something simular in that what happens with players that get released from your but you wish to keep them but glad to know the rosters lock once we recieve our teams.
What happens if your clubs restructure a players contract, do we go from the original contract or the new one.

Cheers mate
With all 32 places signed up for are the teams going to be chosen in the next day or so.
I am out Friday and Saturday night so would need to leave my choices with someone
I am off work for next two weeks but am on a work coarse from the 19th for a week so will only be able to do the basics then.
Knowing my luck that will be the week free agency starts. Just what to know my team now so can plot ![]()
So we are waiting for the last member to sign up and take thier spot.
What is the timeline going forward ??
Sorry I used the Browns as an example of a team with plenty of cap space not that i would wish them on anyone in real life ![]()
Will continue playing on the Spotrac to do a bigboard on teams
I just hope I get a team I have some knowledge on.
ravensdan has asked for spot 30 which gives PaRAYdise's friend 29. Draft would appear to be complete (touching wood) fingers crossed

Each team has advantages and disadvantages.
The Browns would have over $100mil in cap space but very little in way of players to trade with, other teams are 90% set but right upto the cap.

Im new to this too. Just got to make sure I stick to the rules and build a competative team this year, learn and be better next
11 minutes ago, rmw10 said:@ravensnick come join us here! Signup with whatever open number you would like.
He chose 14 so its just numbers 28, 29 and 30 left
Anderson and his girlfriend were both arrested for kicking eachothers cars ... monty python style.

Im sure someone might exchange once the teams are annonced, may cost you draft picks lol
Still not sure if choosing 3 was a great idea. Off work for next two weeks so can be on any time but 3rd week on coarse so will have to hope all is quiet that week

Atleast im not the only Brit in this
Count me in for no. 3 please
If there was a spot would be happy to join.
Could someone send me the setup basics and rules would be helpful. Thankyou

Thankyou
If there was space and someone could explain the basics i would like to have a go. Not sure who is running it though
To trade up would only use our comp 3rd to trade up a couple of spots for one of the DE Garrett/Allen/Thomas/Barnett, WR Williams, CB Lattimore or possibly ILB Foster.
IF draft board is blown up by our pick I would hope to trade back but only if we recieve additional 2nds/3rds and at value.
Only way I would trade completely out of the 1st is for a huge haul way above value
16 hours ago, kjbmore said:What are thoughts on trading out of the first if we could swap with, 49ers, bears, jags, jets for their 2nd n 3rd
End up with an early second, then our second.
Early 3rd, our 3rd, comp 3rd
Going on the points chart our 1st is worth a 1000pts, the trade with 49ers would be worth 820 without out picks/future ones added. It would take a huge haul to tempt me to trade back that far and for the draft board to completely collapse at that point. (Passrushers, Safeties gone and no one taking any of Quarterbacks)
I wouldn't be against trading back but I wouldn't trade out of the 1st round for just a 2nd and 3rd.
If your looking for a draft haul something along the lines of trading with our 1st to Cleveland for both their 2nds and combination or 3rd/4ths would be more appealing (2nd 2nd 3rd comp and 4th). This would give us three 2nds, three 3rds and two 4ths .... 7 in the top 100.
Could only see browns trading up that far it they didnt take a QB with their first 2 picks and one had fallen to that point they really liked Trubisky/Watson and thought one of the next few teams will.
The site is fun but If you want the most points just keep trading back and dont pick for need.
The player ratings seems to run alongside how cbs see the players

Everyone will look at a team differently.
A team with lots of holes and large cap space will be fun but really time consuming, other teams are a few players away from a good balanced squad but with very little cap.
