He failed the conditioning test, not his physical. He also has 2 blown out knees. I'm disappointed Webb isn't what he was from 2010-2012 but its not him. He's not some dud who chows burgers all offseason and boozes it up hardcore. He works at it. Smith is coming off lisfranc (sp?) surgery. Not exactly an easy recovery there either.

Everyone drops balls, that goes without saying, Boldin did drop one in Pittsburgh but that wasn't exactly an easy catch. How many times have we watched Aiken get hit in the chest with no one in a 3 yard radius of him? He's not a #2, plain and simple.

Aiken is an extreme poor man's Boldin. If you're going to be a possession receiver who is that big, you need to A) never drop passes that hit your hands and b )break a tackle one time. If he's our #2 going forward then we may as well just tell Flacco we don't care about his weapons.

While it is admirable that we are ranked so high and quite obviously contributes to winning games. Does no one else feel this ranking is somewhat skewed? Considering since the Harbaugh era we have consistently brought in or retained, at cut time, ST specialists. As well have also dressed guys who will never help the offense or defense, over guys who could, but are limited when it comes to ST, thereby possibly stunting some players growth.

Agreed there. Ozzie has the chance to completely rebuild the roster with at least 2 immediate starters who are playmakers, likely 3. If he gets this draft wrong this team is super screwed. He can't mess this one up.

Theres one flaw though, you and I could see a benefit from getting said stickers in the form of a promotion or a bonus. These guys are already at the top of the pile and their contracts are locked in no matter the amount of stickers. Their pay won't be increased or decreased based on the stickers. And you know exactly when you're having a good practice, any athlete knows when they play or practice well. The results are pretty immediate. If I had a coach give out effort stickers in practice or games when I was a grown man I'd laugh.

I would lay my money down on this part. This is Harbaugh going high school on them. Pro athletes are so much different than any other athletes because they finally have bullets in the chamber on their side. They're paid, in the millions, and if a guy is a stud its a ton of money. Players will eventually look at the older vets who are the studs of the team to see the reaction. Pro athletes despise being treated like babies/college kids, if anything they want more freedom to be on their own and do their own thing so long as they can perform. Why guys don't like showing up to OTAs, off season workouts, curfews, why they go home on by weeks etc. This is not treating them like grown men.

The game isn't the same. They messed with it too much. There used to be safety written into the sport when QBs made terrible reads and got one of their WRs lit up, WR would stop running that route across the middle/the QB would take an extra half second and make sure there was no one there to light up their guy. I'm tired of watching QBs make horse crap reads or horse crap throws then get rewarded because of a flag or now watching defenders pull up on a guy. I despise helmet to helmet contact, its the fake tough guy move, but a dude laying the lumber on someone across the middle and just so happens to clip his head and shoulder/chest shouldn't be a penalty, especially when WRs tuck and curl. Where are you supposed to hit someone now? I'll never forget Shaun Taylor having Reggie Wayne want no part of him over the middle IN AN ALL STAR game. And pass interference now is a joke.

Pees was actually decent in this game. We turned the ball over 4 straight drives, once inside our own 20. The hell do you expect from a defense? If Pees had one of his average games the Jags would have scored 35.
