  1. Flat out NO, I don't want a thug who can singlehandedly cost us our season.
  2. Yeah no mention of Tucker here, which is a surprise. Sincerely hope we can see some value out of Pitta, but not at the expense of his future health. And KO for LT. And sorry to be a Peter-Pointer but Sarah it's a misperception, not a misnomer :-)
  3. Good for Ed, I think it's the beginning of a career that will see him make a great DC one day within the next ten years. Hopefully that will be at the Ravens. Hope the Bills DB's have the popcorn maker at the ready for film-night with Ed.
  4. Can guarentee that is Burfict floored a Patriots reciever like this, or put his knee into Blue-eyes Brady's collar-bone the way he did to Ben Rothlisburger in that vine that's getting around, he'd be suspended for a lot more than three weeks. That hit on Max was just flat out wrong, and if Max wasn't a big-necked country lad it could've been a pretty serious injury.
  5. Settle down Boomer, Marvin has just as many Superbowl rings as you do
  6. Thanks for the info Hal. I'll be honest and say that if a solid LT option is available (whether it's KO or our first round draft pick), 6.6m in dead money to let Monroe walk feels perfectly acceptable to me. Lets face it the guys not playing nickle, no.3-WR or TE here, LT is a full time job and needs someone who is on the park every game. Either that or renegotiate his contract downwards with the same guarenteed money and re-evaluate after one year, I can't imagine he is too valuable in free-agency right now.
  7. Is it just me or did Harbs look pretty damn tired at the presser. Not only does Steve have two GM's, he has two HC's, 6am to 6pm Harbs, and 6pm to 6am Harbs.
  8. Steve was being very polite about it in the presser, and I am sure he has as harsh feelings about the officials as us fans at times. Here's the thing, if I am paying someone a SIX-FIGURE SALARY for a PART TIME JOB, I don't care how thick that rule-book is, I expect them to know it word for word the way a preacher knows the bible.
  9. They didn't call, because they knew they didn't want to hear Steve laughing on the other end of the phone.
  10. I'm with Steve on this one, most of the talent gap is on IR. Other than that we are one no.1-2 WR away from being as good (on paper) as the Bungles.
  11. Is it just me, or does anyone else want the Steelers to beat the Bungles next week ... tradition says the Bungles get bounced out the back door in the first week, and I'm not one to break with tradition :-) Green button for Steelers, Red Button for Bungles
  12. I think we are in an age where the science around nutrition and excercise has led our athletes to the place where their ability to develop muscle far surpasses the human body's ability to develop the supporting structures around that muscle: ligaments, tendons and bones. This is why we are seeing large numbers of injuries even in a league that has put in place so many rules to protect the health of these athletes. A perfect example of this comes from my neck of the woods where in this video, two Australian NRL players have an arm wrestle on national TV, the result, one of them gets multiple fractures in his arm. Warning, this video is not for the feint of heart:
  13. As long as he brings Chuck Pagano with him too ;-)
  14. Yeah Suh is dirty, think maybe the ref's are just scared of him lol. On us I think we are showing some good development for next year, when we will hopefully be healthy, and for this year GO THE BILLS, looking at their schedule they're close enough if they're good enough, want to see Tyrod shake things up in the playoffs.
  15. Way to make a play Brent, well done!!
  16. Kap to Baltimore .... nah thanks, we're good at RB
  17. Wanna see Urban all over McClown like a fat kid on a cup-cake :-)
  18. This made me chuckle, blown voicebox maybe? It's been a tough year for Harb's, bet he has nightmares about penalties.
  19. This just isn't our season. Get well soon JF, 2016 we'll come back stronger than ever.
  20. There is never a good time to lose your cannon-armed QB. But if there was, it is in a 3-7 season, not a 7-3 season. Get well soon Joe, 2016 this team is gonna come back strong.
  21. And yeah I like Givens, hope that lad sticks around
  22. Yeah I've never heard Flacco bad-mouth anyone, even when nobody (except Pitta) joined him in his Fu-possie
  23. Nah nobody's as awesome as Ryan Leaf, Johnny Clipboard is running a pretty good race though ..... Gotta say those headphones arent a good look for training unless we're talking photoshoot for Beats endorsements already lol?
  24. Make the decision that's right for you and your family Dennis. There's 40-odd years after football, and it'd be good to be healthy for that too.
  25. The biggest Mid-Season award goes to the Browns for losing this week, and lifting us off the bottom of the division.
