I cannot fathom Chuck Pagano passing on Barnett if he comes available to them Can it happen? Perhaps but it is unlikely.

Yea, because we know they wont address the OL.

I would be pretty happy with this draft.  Barnett has been my guy so far, im starting to be interested in guys like Mckinley, Reddick, McDowel.  Good job

I wouldn't be disappointed if we take him to play LG, at RT I'm right there with you, I don't think he'll be a great RT - at least not for a couple years. But I think you can plug and play him at LG and he'll be a pro bowl caliber player, so if we do actually want to move Lewis out then I'd be fine with Robinson. Not my preferred pick, but I wouldn't we upset about it.

Ya know what, I guess I should re-evaluate this situation.  Considering Yanda's age this could be a great draft pick.  The issue I have is that there are so many game changers in this draft, especially the defensive talent in the first.  We need to find a replacement for Suggs and Yanda, two very important positions and waiting till one of them retire to draft the replacement (ie Torrey situation) would be a huge mistake.  Thanks @ravensnation5220

Not what I would prefer, but I would understand it and not be disappointed.

I like cam, hes not perfect by any stretch but you can work with him. Hes got plenty of upside and more than held bis own in the SEC. I just posted my opinion on this in the prediction vs preference poll thread

I just think we can find adequate talent after the first

Im not that attached to him because theres similar players to be had in later rounds. All he really is is a big bodied target for joe with hands.

To me the value of cam robinson is much greater, he can line up anywhere except maybe center. If stanley were to ever get hurt id rather slide him over to left than try and fix that with whoever we have. To me thats great value

Robinson is one of the players I would be disappointed with if we used 16 for him.  This just isn't a good OL class, I love this analogy:  Sometimes you don't have to be the hottest girl at the bar, just the only girl.  I feel that applies here, if not, I just wanted to say it.

Superbowl throw on 1 leg but what about the Denver game. Dumervill had 1 good season.  Torrey has been released by the 49ers not because he's old but because he's not a #1. Like Chad Johnson would say....Child please!!!

    I addressed the Denver game....

Me saying Boldin didn't get the credit is not saying from us but the organization! He was only due 6 million and was traded.

All him a Torrey really racked up pass interference calls! Go look at the film, and the passes to Jacoby in the Denver and superbowl game was like catching punts! He stop and waited! What are you watching!!!

Do you forgot this is also a business?  Yes Boldin was due 6million and for some reason the FO thought that Torrey could be a #1 which was a huge mistake.  Then they wanted to rely on Pitta who got hurt, then Rice was also hurt.  Also, Getting rid of Boldin meant we were able to bring in Doom, which as much as I hated getting rid of Q I loved bringing in another pass rusher opposite of Suggs, really helped our defense.  The problem is that we didn't address moving Q, The problem was we didn't 'value' any of the WRs in the upcoming draft enough, which I think was a mistake (obviously) considering Keenen Allen, Markus Wheaton, Kenny Stills was available.  Then there was Justin Hunter, Aaron 'Dropson", Terrence Willams.  Its a catch 22.  I prefer to build the defense but after handing Joe the contract the FO did, didn't make much sense to trade away his number one target.  No doubt Boldin was a beast, but during the regular season he was pretty average.

Maybe you should look at the film more closely.  If Joe didn't loft the pass in Denver the safety would of easily picked it off, we were lucky that he miss judged it, by about a foot. Im not sure what you are watching, but the throw he made to Jacoby was perfect.  Yea, he could of thrown it further but then you have to realize, humans have physical limits. He is scrambling out of the pocket and throws it on the run, lands right in his chest.  Should of made him reach for it, since he is known so well for his good hands. Some how only our fans will complain about a 70+ yard last second TD to send a game into OT to beat one of the best offenses the NFL has ever seen and go onto to win the SB.  But yea....that pass was a little high, Just like my Ferrari is too fast

If we get back KO and Wagner, we're still missing a Guard and a Center (because KO wouldn't be playing Guard if he were here, and Stanley wouldn't be on this team). Pretty much the same spot we are in now, if you think Lewis can be a decent RT.

I would also ask people to reference the 2014 season (and postseason most importantly), when Joe played quite well. In that postseason, we averaged 30 points a game on the road, in which our offensive line featured Hurst at LT, Yanda at RT, and Urschel at Guard. In fact, according to Pro Football Reference (and I don't remember if this is true or not), Urschel started at LEFT TACKLE against the Patriots, Hurst at RT, and Yanda moved back inside to Guard.

Stop and think about that for a minute. Our starting tackles in Foxboro in the playoffs were Urschel and Hurst. And we still scored 30.

The overall premise is accurate... Joe needs a good OLine. He does NOT, however, need a great OLine. For the most part, he's never had one.

I love how people seem to forget how Joe balled out, gave us two 14 point leads in Foxboro against a secondary that featured Revis.  NFL definitely means not for long.
