The reason you would take a guy like Mwilliams is because of his measurables, you cant teach that. His route running isn't horrific or anything. Where ever he goes, he will be a difference maker.

I was using Garret as an example as I would have a hard time giving up so much for a player that's not a QB. Trading for a player that's 2 years away from contract expiration is risky, especially considering we didn't resign the last two Ts to become FA. We might get two years, but id be willing to bet he would test the market as we don't normally pay big contracts, as recent evidence and as normal we would get outbid. I understand your premise, I just think that's not a very good move for our franchise, but to each their own.

Honesty and credibility is on this board, just have to chose who to believe. If I was a brick wall, id probably give credibility to RayRay. Certain posters over time show their knowledge, regardless if you like them or not. Perfect example is RmcJacket, he uses facts when he makes an argument, so its easy to prove what he says is a fact and not opinion. I think its more wishful thinking on your part just wanting said player, I just don't see getting a good return giving up our 16th pick. But when doing a mock, shouldn't you be more realistic? I mean its your mock and all, do what ya want. But that would be like me doing a mock giving up our next three 1s to get Garret, its not impossible that would never happen, just highly unlikely....

Billions - such a damn good show, easily one of my favorites Homeland - Overall, this was easily the worst season. The finale did not help redeem the lack of action, suspense, etc outside of 2 episodes. This shows first 3 seasons were so on point, so great, and now we have this. Its lost its appeal to me, but sadly ill stick with it, I honestly don't want to though.

Oh I agree, imo though, Durant will be the best player Westbrook ever played with. OKC sucks, been there many times and I always thought Durant would actually stay there, just seems like a place that fit him well. I would take KD before Westbrook any day. Also, not too many players wanted to play with Kobe and he lived in LA, plenty of stuff to do. To each their own

Westbrook had Durant, I believe the way he plays pushed Durant out and that's why I don't think anyone will ever want to go play with him.

The guy is an unbelievable talent, don't get me wrong, but he is going to have around 400 shots I believe the next person. Him and Harden both have set records for turnovers this year, and Westbrook shoots 42% I am not going to say he is over-rated (that's Steph imo), and I wont deny that he is the only reason OKC is going to make the playoffs. I just have never been a fan of players like him, maybe its because of how I played ball.

What do you think it would cost to do it? And if the FO think he can be our next Suggs for 10 years, i think a trade-up is worth it, within reason. It would be nice to see us trade up to get a guy we really want, rather than always trading back. Lets say we have 5 guys left on the board and Barnett is at the top of our list and is there at 11....I would jump on it. Most would say you can get better 'value' by waiting and get a player still on your board at our pick, i would just rather take the guy want overall.

Has the Ravens ever in the 20+ years traded their first round pick for a player? Im not being sarcastic, actually asking. Im not exactly a fan of this draft. In a defensive loaded drafted i would rather (i think the FO would as well) grab a younger player at a cheaper cost, which any player we select would be just that. When doing a mock i think its important to put players that are off the board, it gives context to the players you selected (at least in the first, doing that for the whole draft would be obviously too time consuming).

I think he is who we are targeting as the replacement for Suggs. Suggs didnt do too well at the combine but i think most would agree that he has worked out pretty well. I see Barnett being the same case.

Im convinced our target is Barnett to replace Suggs. His numbers at the combine werent very impressive, but neither were Suggs. Barnett or Mike Williams....im pretty happy
