  1. We can agree to disagree, i just dont see how you watch the guy play and dont think he is a freakish athlete. I am just extremely excited to see him actually play, not too many guys i am excited for on this roster.
  2. Its pretty hard to be as successful as this team was at drafting considering we drafted JO and Ray Lewis in the same round, two of the best of all time at their positions, then Reed who is also one of the best of all time at his positions, Suggs, Ngata, Rice, etc. Its a hard track record to keep comparing to. That being said, I agree, its obvious we have missed on game changing players. Trust me, you most likely wont find someone who hates on the KC pick more than I do, but im still willing to give him time to develop. Hopefully this year he gets more snaps, especially considering Orr has retired. there were plenty of players I would of taken than KC, but hey....lets wait and see. Agree, Torrey is the best WR we have ever drafted, we got good production out of him, but he never really progressed, hence why we let him walk and get his money. Hence, this is why Mike Williams is the number one guy I want this year. Carr wasn't really brought in to be a game changer, just a good starter that will do his job. Imagine if we didn't sign those players though, who would we have had? its a catch 22. Im not able to do the math and look things up right now, but I would be interested to see the percentage of our salary cap that Joe's contract takes up between the two with the inflation of the cap going up.
  3. Perriman is coming into his third year, without even having a TC with Joe, while I will say this is the year he needs to show why we drafted him, I don't think you can legitimately say we missed on him yet. Maxx and Correa, its still too early to judge, and im a huge critic of Correa but even I know we have to give him some time to develop. Kindle was a freak accident, just bad luck on the FO and for Kindle. I do agree we need to draft our early picks, but lets not act like we are the only team that has drafting issues with their first pick. Also, we normally nail our mid-round picks Joe's cap hit is not as big as an issue as people make it out to be. Also, what dumpster diving CBs are you talking about? And yea, signing 30+ year old WRs has really worked out poorly for us....what were we thinking.
  4. I think we find an elite talent with a 3rd or 4th round pick.
  5. Well said and im in agreement with you. I think we saw a bit of a change in Oz and Co. philosophy, yet the funny thing is that all the haters still find a way to complain about who we decide to sign. People really complaining that we bring back Webb as depth? Or that we have signed two of the top ranked safeties two years in a row? Or signed a CB that may not be a shutdown corner (because those are just chilling in FA ) but is a reliable #2? I think a lot of people compare our drafted players too much to our greats of the past, I mean, anytime we start discussing draft picks, someone (usually a negative ned) always brings up how we don't have any Ray Lewis' or Ed Reeds on this roster. I am not saying im content with where we stand, but we are making moves that have gotten me pretty excited for this year. We have a lot of young players from last year and the year before that could really change the make up of our team and we have a draft that's loaded with talent this year. I think OZ and Co. will shut up a lot of fans with this draft coming up, or at least I hope.
  6. Quincy Wilson, Rivers, Godwin, Feeney, Curti Samuel just to name some more. So much talent in this draft, trading back is enticing
  7. I believe we lack difference makers and have holes. You cant have a difference maker at every position. The Steelers have difference makes, but where do you think they got Brown from? He was a late round flier. I find ironic that you use Bell, Brown, boyd, Benard as examples, who none were drafted in the first round, which basically goes against your point Yes you reduce the risk of taking a bust the earlier you pick, but you also want as numerous picks as possible because as time has shown, picking early in the first doesn't guarantee anything. Don't get me wrong, im not disagreeing with you. If Mwilliams, Davis, Barnett are available, definitely grab one of them, I would hate to have to pick between the three but would most likely go Mwilliams considering how deep this draft is defensively. But if all three are gone I am more than ok with trading back 6 spots with the Dolphins (example) because they value a DB still on the board and we pick up say, a third. With the amount of talent in this draft, I want more picks, unlike last year, it was a weak draft
  8. I assume you tried it animal style? What part of cali were you in?
  9. I completely disagree. A team with numerous holes is a team that should try to get....numerous picks. A team that values a different player than us because they have different needs. Perfect example Is the Raiders, a team that is a legit contender and some consider the only team that can challenge the Pats. They need help in the secondary so if a DB is available that they think will put them over the edge, they will want to move up and make that push. Each team is in a different situation. Its like you are comparing draft needs from the Browns to the Pats, every team has different needs therefore values players differently. This forum will explode if we trade back with Mwilliams or Corey Davis on the board, i might be one of those guys. But adding a RB and a LG (rookies) would in no way make our offense on par with our defense.
  10. I guess since I don't really eat FF it just doesn't do anything for me. But people here Cali act like if you don't like it, your a sinner. You are in Cali now?
  11. I agree with you in the sense that it wouldn't be who I would draft in their position.
  12. the hype it gets.
  13. Yea I agree they shouldn't go that route, but with the HC there, not to mention Hyde has never played a full season and will be a FA next year. Just a hunch but definitely wouldn't be my pick with the type of defensive guys in this draft
  14. I think Fournette is going to go 2nd to the 9ers, no idea why but just a hunch
  15. Im going for as little as possible
  16. Over under in how many games Gronk plays this year at 8? Ill go over, but I still think he misses time
  17. I dont think he was saying Gronk would never be traded, correct me if im wrong @BOLDnPurPnBlacK, hes saying that we wont trade for him and i completely agree.
  18. No i figured you did.
  19. This is why....
  20. ok then.
  21. Dont you think if BB wants to get rid of a player, there is a pretty good damn reason why? A lot of things would be awesome, like talking to my dog, but the chances are about the same and honestly talking to my dog might be easier.
  22. I have zero issues with his partying because its all in good fun, now if a story came out where he gets a little rough with women, thats when stuff becomes an issue. But... 1) Health issues. I think the kids body is breaking down. Imagine if we traded for him then he gets hurt, this forum would be outraged. The Ravens didnt draft him when he had health concerns, why would they trade for him when he has shown those concerns to be true 3) The Contract. 4) I dont think anyone actually thinks he works harder than Brady. 5) i just dont think there is any reality to this. Why dont we just trade for Julio? its all fun to play madden, but id bet whatever that this never happens. obviosuly lol
  23. I think he could even go to the Titans unless Adams is on the board
  24. Old bay flavored sunflower seeds
  25. The great thing about the NFL is that most teams have a shot to win it all the way. We were 500 last year and we were close to the playoffs regardless of how we looked, so with the improvements made, Joe's injury, new players added, i do think we can compete for the division still. And you know what they say, just have to get to the dance then make some noise. Look how bad we looked at the end of the year during our last SB. A rebuilding team wont be competing for a division
