  1. It was a well made movie, but as a Marine veteran it was a tough watch. Made the mistake of going on a date with a new girl... Thank God they served beer there.
  2. I would love to have Britt here...
  3. No thank you for Davis, has talent but he will be overpriced.
  4. Of course it would be very attractive to Marshall, but money almost always wins. If we could let torrey go and get marshal for around 7 a year, that would be fantastic, but i highly doubt he will take less than 10
  5. I cant tell if your agreeing or not with me lol. Sidenote, i was talking to a buddy of mine about a week ago about the possibility of Brandon Marshall getting cut (just a hunch i had) by the bears and him following trestman here. Then i read this today: "ESPN Chicago's Michael C. Wright writes that "nobody knows" whether Brandon Marshall will be back with the Bears in 2015. The Bears signed Marshall to a new four-year, $39 million deal last May, but the regime that handed him that extension is gone. Marshall is still a fine player and worth the money, but there's some question whether he'll be able to coexist with Chicago's new staff. OC Adam Gase was the Broncos' WRs coach when Mike Shanahan banished Marshall from Denver. Marshall also had a 2014 falling out with Jay Cutler. Per the website OverTheCap.com, the Bears could save $3.95 million in cap space by cutting Marshall this offseason." I know that this is such a huge longshot considering the money marshall would want, but just thought it was funny that i was just talking about the possibility recently.
  6. so basically the same thing happened with him as every other raven that leaves...
  7. Anyone who thinks we go after Revis is insane. No way we will pay the asking price that he could get anywhere else, not to mention the pats might lock him up for the future. But no thanks. Here is a good list of the FA available, some very interesting players out there. http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/nfl/51589/309/2015-nfl-free-agents
  8. I still think that was a little odd. I mean, Jax is the president of the club thats been responsible for so much mayhem in charming, how does every single cop not know who Jax is....just a thought
  9. Well i have been gone for quite some time, glad to see this and the movie thread still around. SoA basically went as i predicted and im happy with the ending for the most part. So lets talk about newsroom, one of the best shows ive ever seen. I was not aware that this sundays episode is the last, didnt know at all. How do you guys feel about that?
  10. Sup guys, its been awhile since ive been on here. heres a list of what i seen recently: Noah- Very interesting aspect of that story, nothing special. Brick Mansions- I enjoyed it for a decent action movie, story line was good until the end Evidence- I really liked it. 3 days to kill- good action movie, worth the watch Robocop- i thought it was pretty cool, worth the watch Art of the Steal- good movie, worth the watch non stop- typical liam neeson movie Downloaded- a cool story about napster Thats all i can think of at the moment. can someone throw some movies out i need to check out.
  11. Great point, skip would explode if brady came to our team. Our "weapons" that we never had would instantly become the most "dangerous" weapons in the nfl.
  12. Clearly your are high. We could have megatron, AJ, dez bryant with mccoy in the backfield and brady throwing the ball...along side with suh and revis added to our defense...we will still be projected 8-8 as longas we wear that Bmore shield. Hell, if Roger Goodell suited up, maybe then we could get above 500
  13. I have no issue with what AJ said. This is a guy who never speaks or says anything at any time. He vented his frustration because he wants to win, i really dont think he wants more money, He already makes great money. Him bringing up the fact hes been to the playoffs twice, i think he just wants to experience a winning organization. Yea he could of done this behind closed doors but he didnt, its done and i dont blame him
  14. I wanted to chime in on the offense argument What possibly more could we have done? We added steve mith who i have no doubt will bring what Boldin did when he showed up in Bmore. We resigned locked pitta down and resigned jones, he could have been gone. Brought in Daniels for depth and he knows Zs system. I would of loved to grab a wr early with an instant impact but we had defensive needs that needed to be addressed and we made good moves in the FA for offense. You also have to remember injuries last year killed us with Pitta and Rice, with our OL already playing bad, it was just snow ball. I have high hopes for marlon brown, he has huge potential and show a lot of it last year. People need to chill out and look at the bigger picture. Besides, what were we suppose to do, just go out and sign another top wr? desean jackson, no thanks....
  15. I feel the reason he got away from patience is the lack of holes that were created. I think he felt a little barry sanders syndrome, he has to make it happen, our oline was not good last year. I dont think rice has ever been that rb that will completely change a game by himself, ive pushed for a long time he needs to be more of a receiving rb, him in chip kellys offense would be awesome.
  16. I find this laughable honestly. Torrey, who is 25 years old who is still making improvements, hasnt hit his prime, should be in an offense that let Johnson blow up, could be our WR for the future. AJ who is 32 and demands a lot more money at the moment, hes looking for his last pay day if he goes somewhere, and again...is 32. I would much rather build a young wr corps so we dont have to deal with this issue for a while. yes we just got steve smith, but we added him to torrey, didnt trade. We are not nor have ever been a win now team, especially with us revamping the defense at the moment, the future looks bright in Bmore, no way do we give up the one wr that is a complete game changer and still developing.
  17. sidenote, i still think trading Boldin away was a mistake
  18. I guess ill vent, but its not much I like our draft. Everything i read about the players we got is nothing but good things, im very excited to see brooks in action. I have no issues not taking a rb earlier as i think we are fine in that area, i just think the faults were on the oline. Only issue i have is that we finally had a spot in the draft where we could draft a offensive weapon to make a difference and we passed on it, cooks was still there when we took mosely, but ill be honest, im not too sure how good mosely is and dont know whats expected of him. In a very deep draft at wr, we wait till the 7th round to pick a wr, hopefully MC turns out, i like him, but its a lot of faith to put on a 7th rounder. Oz is an awesome GM, the best in the game, but his weak spot is clearly wrs and he had a chance to change that right away this year. MC may work, but we wont know for two years or so.
  19. Well i have been gone for awhile. Of course i have been watching movies still. Not gonna go through all the movies ive seen for a bit, but watched the secret life of walter mitty, i enjoyed it, thought it would be better though.
  20. thats what i thought. I was wanting him to come to Baltimore
  21. Anyone have any intrest in Brandon Spikes?
  22. Mack would be awesome to have, but i worry that it would hinder any other signings. I really think we need to grab a good wr through FA and not the draft.
  23. I actually went to the movies for this one;)
  24. So i finally got around to seeing Wolf of Wallstreet. Absolutely loved it. For one, i love those type of stories, bussiness stuff and what not. Not to mention its a true story. Makes me want to go watch Boiler Room again, which that movie was loosely based off of Jordan Belforts business plan.
  25. Really? im stoked for Captain Philips. Are you just not a fan of his, which i dont know how thats possible
